Don’t let appearances fool you, this is not a shotgun. It is something completely different. The 12 gauge Remington V3 Tac-13 is a 26.5-inch long semi-automatic firearm with a Raptor grip. Built on an aluminum receiver, it weighs under 6 pounds and holds up to five 2 3/4 inch shells in the tube magazine with one more in the chamber.

Remington is following on the huge success that is the TAC-14 with a semi-auto V3 TAC-13 12-gauge firearm. The compact package weighs just under 6 pounds.

This particular class was obviously not a beginner’s course. But there are plenty to choose from that are in the NRA Summer Gunsmithing Program.

Remington Arms secured a contract with the U.S. Army for 5.56 NATO carbines for allied forces worth just shy of $24.5 million dollars.

Remington Arms is launching a new family of competition-oriented 1911-pattern pistols called the R1 Limited Series in single- and double-stack configs.

Remington released a new custom competition 1911 this week chambered in .40 S&W.  The pistol is a collaboration with competitive shooter Travis Tomasie.  It’s called the R1 Tomasie Custom.  

Big Green is back, baby! Remington, also known as “Remington Outdoor Company,” announced Thursday that it has successfully emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Reuters reported earlier this week that Bank of America had contributed $43.2 million to a $193 million lending package designed to help Remington recover after emerging from bankruptcy. BoA struck the deal with Big Green before changing its firearms policy, but that didn’t stop David “Boycott Everything” Hogg from criticizing the bank for honoring its commitment.
