Red Dot

At SHOT Show, Steiner introduced the MPS-C as the latest addition to its pistol-optics lineup. It is a new compact, fully enclosed pistol red dot designed for the RMS-C footprint.

The DS Warrior uses the Tac Precision optics plate system for RMR-compatible optics, allowing direct mounting of compatible red‑dot optics without aftermarket slide machining.

The XRAY7-CO connects directly to the SIG Kilo WARP laser rangefinders. With the 905 LRF, it links via Bluetooth. With the WARP 1550, wired connections are available.

The new 507-PROMAX feels like it came straight out of that feedback loop.

We ran the Trijicon MRO SD and 3x magnifier on an AR-15 to see if it really blends snap-fast 1x performance with confident reach. It does, with clarity and control that make hits feel automatic.

Vortex continues to expand its enclosed emitter lineup with the new Venom Enclosed Micro Red Dot. Built on a DeltaPoint Pro footprint, the Venom Enclosed is designed to handle the elements while remaining simple and affordable.

Vortex just launched two new fully enclosed micro red dots. They are the Defender-CCW Enclosed and the Defender-ST Enclosed. Both are designed to survive the abuse of daily carry, duty use, and competition.

C&H Precision makes the largest windowed RMSc footprint optic, and it is called the Max. For this review, I put one to the test in pistol shooting competitions.

What about revolvers? They haven’t been subject to the same red dot revolution, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t red dot ready revolvers.
