It is a staple of gun control politics to work to diminish both the size and the ever increasing diversity of the firearm-owning American citizenry. The Trace provides just the latest example.

SCOTUS turned down an opportunity earlier this week to hear a dispute over whether guns can be forbidden from post offices, upholding a U.S. Postal Service regulation that bans guns from post office property.

The U.S. Supreme Court is vacating a lower court’s finding that a stun gun was not protected by the Second Amendment as a valid weapon for self-defense.

The report begins with the article’s most important piece of news: “Nearly 4,000 British youngsters have shotgun licences.” The exact number is 3,982—a full .03% of the country’s under-18 population. Terrifying.

If “the price of liberty is eternal vigilance,” the gun community better stay on its toes, especially in light of the current and potential Supreme Court vacancies.
