Remington announced this week that the RP45 and RP45 Night Sight are now available for purchase nationwide! 

The Rex Alpha is a steel-framed, SIG-styled handgun built for competition that’s been turning heads since SHOT Show earlier this year.

The Kimber Team Match II was developed for the USA Shooting Rapid Fire Pistol Team to use in action shooting competitions at national and international levels. To say that these are picky shooters is an understatement.

The 19X is basically a G19 slide melded to a G17 sized frame. This has been poo-pooed at length by the usual internet commando’s, but I like the concept. In fact, we had a grip extension created by Len Baxley when I was in the Army that did exactly the same thing.

Here are my top five night sights for handguns, in no particular order. Just for the sake of comparison, the sights listed are all for a Glock 19. If you have the proper tools, you can install these yourself, but professional installation is recommended.

As Jason Karvois, Century’s Director of Sales, said in the press release, “The addition of the Shockwave Blade offers a very handy and accurate pistol with the reliability and durability you would expect from an AK.”

So in a nutshell, all of the reasons to carry the XD-E I might not necessarily agree with. Some of them don’t apply to me specifically. But I can understand why they were done.

First and foremost, because it is small. Beyond small – it’s tiny. The LC9s Pro is what I would categorize as a micro-9. Its dimensions are literally just enough to handle the size of the cartridge and pressures created and nothing more. This makes the pistol incredibly concealable.

Review of the Canik TP9 SFx pistol.  The TP9 SFx was ready to go right out of the box for Production Division or Carry Optics Division with the addition of a red dot optic.    In the future, if I decide to switch divisions, or stop competing in USPSA matches, the TP9 SFx could fill a home defense role.
