To really appreciate the LEAP/MAG you need to handle a rifle with one.  It keeps the balance of the weapon and doesn’t get in the way of operation.

Currently, both optics are only offered in MRAD, but that will likely change in the future. Both of these optics have a huge magnification range and amazing glass while remaining sub 40 ounces, an incredible achievement.

Leupold Mark 5HD: Light Weight Long Range – SHOT Show 2019

At first blush this scope will look very familiar to anyone who has seen or used the Leupold Mark 5HD in 5-25 magnification. In fact, it shares the same main tube with its lower magnification brother, so tube size is not a source of additional weight with this new 7-35 version. It weighs in at a svelte 33 ounces, which is not much for scopes in this class.
