ATN, maker of thermal and night vision optics, has solved this problem. ATN’s TICO LTV series of thermal scopes can attach in front of your daylight optic and you can go shoot it without even zeroing it first.

Stopping by the Pulsar Booth during SHOT Show 2024, Ivan took me through the features of the brand new Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50 thermal binoculars.

While an MSRP wasn’t specified, the Thales representative told me it would cost “closer to 10K than 1K.” While the XTRAIM is available now, it is currently only being sold to military and law enforcement units.

Their highlight of the show was a red dot that incorporates a thermal camera, which set the internet on fire!

ATN has always been at the forefront of budget-minded night optics and now they have added another option in their catalog of products.

Being able to fill the role of a scanner, clip-on, and dedicated scope puts the RH25 into a category of its own that very few products can compete with.

Long story short, vision is complicated.
