Metropolitan Nashville Police said in a press conference last Monday that the Nashville school shooter had their sights set on multiple locations, but chose the Covenant School due to its lack of security. 

“It’s an end-run around our system of checks and balances,” said Bryan Mumford, owner of Clackamas-based PDX Arsenal, in an interview with GunsAmerica Disgest.

St. Louis Metro Transit has rejected a public awareness advertising campaign to remind the public it is illegal to lie on a firearm background check verification form to purchase a gun for someone who cannot legally do so on their own.
