Christensen Arms has entered a newer, rapidly expanding section of the firearms market with their new bolt action chassis pistol, the Modern Precision Pistol. This new offering is basically their MPR chassis rifle shrunken down to a barrel length of 7.5-12.5″ depending on caliber. Don’t be fooled though, these short barrels still pack a punch while providing impressive accuracy.

I am finally getting a review in on something I have wanted to try for a very long time, the Daniel Defense V5 in 260 Remington. Why have I been so anxious to lay hands on this rifle? Know that if it says DD on the side, it is going to be a winner.

The Mountain Shadow Steel is one of their steel barreled options, and it happens to be the model that I’m testing.

Strasser rifles are made in Austria, a country known for high-quality firearms, and the RS14 Evolution certainly fits that bill. I’m not sure what the company meant by the “RS” designation but after evaluating the Evolution I think it should stand for “Really Smooth,” “Remarkably Slick,” or something along those lines.

The NX8 2.5-20x performed exceptionally well on all fronts, and I look forward to seeing the action in Africa behind the crosshairs of one.

The MDT Gen 2 CKYE-POD bipod is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of bipods. There is literally not a bipod that is more versatile or that has more useful adjustments than the CKYE-POD.
