These new XDm Elites are everything that they suggest in the name. I was able to get my hands on all four new additions in order to test them and develop an opinion on them that I can now share. Here’s your first look into the XDm Elites: The trigger is superb, they proved extremely reliable, the grip safety is redesigned and consequently more comfortable and reliably activated, and the magazine capacity is bigger than it has ever been, and so on.

Another thing I always hear during this season: my wife saying “you are so hard to buy Christmas gifts for.” If you hear the same complaint I am here to help.

Shadows lengthened across the North Idaho canyon, reaching tentative fingers into every sunlit opening. Bears were on the menu tonight, and I sat, back to a small tree, watching the slopes and timbered openings across a small canyon.

Leupold doesn’t only manufacture and sell riflescopes. I recently used the Leupold Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit on a coyote hunt, and now I’m a believer.

Leupold Mark 5HD: Light Weight Long Range – SHOT Show 2019

At first blush this scope will look very familiar to anyone who has seen or used the Leupold Mark 5HD in 5-25 magnification. In fact, it shares the same main tube with its lower magnification brother, so tube size is not a source of additional weight with this new 7-35 version. It weighs in at a svelte 33 ounces, which is not much for scopes in this class.

You can count on at least two things during every SHOT Show, the shooting sports industry’s mega-trade show held each January in Las Vegas. One, the crowds will be large enough to trample an elephant. Two, and more importantly, Leupold Optics will have new and upgraded optics on display for serious hunters and shooters. This [...]

New Leupold MOA Version of the Mark 5HD | Full Review

MRAD or MOA? This age-old argument has split up groups of friends, been the creation of forum websites and caused tons of contention between father and son. In the end, depending on the person, both are best. Because of only offering MRAD options, Leupold has been missing out on sales from the MOA side of the market despite having high quality, bombproof equipment to offer. This ends at of the release of the new Mark 5HD riflescope in MOA. Yes, Leupold is introducing MOA into the Mark 5HD line which more than likely foreshadows some products to come.
