Israel Weapon Industries is now shipping the Masada, a full-size polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol chambered for 9mm Luger.

IWI is famous the world over for bullpup designs, and this year stepped out with Tavor 7, a feature-rich addition to the lineup. The Tavor 7 is chambered in 7.62×51, a first for IWI. The gun is obviously larger than the 5.56 Tavor series, going to a big boy caliber requires some additional materials. For the bulk though, you get a lot. The new Tavor 7 is only 3/4ths of an inch longer than the original model.

Yes, you read that correctly. IWI, a long time leader in bullpup design, now has a shotgun in the lineup and we spent time with it on the range. Given the history of the Tavor family of weapons, it should come as no surprise that the Tavor TS-12 is also a bullpup. The standard 18-inch barrel gives an overall length of 28-ish inches, keeping everything just above board for legal purposes.

On the eve of SHOT Show 2018, IWI just dropped a bomb of an announcement!  It’s the company’s first ever bullpup shotgun!  The Tavor TS12.

IWI US, who imports the game-changing Tavor, is halting sales of the Tavor SAR. The company will transition entirely to the Tavor X95 and upcoming Tavor 7

“We’re honored that the Pennsylvania State Capitol Police have chosen to stay with an IWI US firearm and have upgraded their rifle to the state-of-the-art X95,” said Michael Kassnar, vice president of sales & marketing for IWI US, in a press release.
