Precision Formed Custom Holsters from Multi-Holsters

I don’t pull any punches with holster makers. It is incredibly easy to heat up some Kydex and bend it around a gun. It is much more difficult to make bent Kydex into a functional holster that you’d trust your life to. It isn’t a half-assed skill. And those of you reading this might be surprised by how many times we’re approached by aspiring holster makers who want to showcase their skills. Let’s just be clear on this point–I turn at least half of them away becasue they’re not ready. And when I need a holster, I go to Multi Holsters first.

Medford Knife and Tool–SHOT Show 2015

I’d seen Medford knives from time to time, and I’d actually priced some on the web, but I always thought the price was a bit steep. I used to make knives, and I know–better than most yokels–what is actually involved in the process. But this year at SHOT Show, I got to see the whole line-up, and I’m here to tell you that these things are impressive. I’ll have one, too, as soon as I can scrape up the cash. Check out their Sniper–a knife that is also a Sniper’s tool.

If you wear a plate carrier, you can pretty much carry as many extra mag pouches and extra gear as you want. This isn’t always practical, though–and is ludicrous for those who need extra gear and the ability to hide in plain sight. So how do you conceal a full load out? Blue Force Gear has a good solution.

Ever wished you could have a small section of tank tread to wear around your wrist? And did you ever wish that those treads had little tools in them? And did you ever wish that all of these tooled up treads were also a watch band? No? What planet are you from?

Getting a gun safe is the first step in protecting your guns. But you can’t always stay with your safe, and no safe is 100% immune to theft or fire. Liberty Safes has an innovative solution. Their SafElert system allows for text and email alerts, and real-time monitoring of the safe. And it isn’t going to break the bank, either.

N82 Tactical makes holsters that focus on the user’s comfort and the effective mode of carry. The results are impressive, and competitively priced. I’ve been carrying the GLOCK 42 in an N82 Professional for more than a month, and it is proving to be the most comfortable and effective retention holster I’ve seen for IWB carry. Read the review.

The NSR C-5 is a holster built for concealment. It is designed to ride inside the waistband, and can be tucked underneath a shirt. The holster build is minimalist, but has room for expansion. It allows the end user to modify the rig to suit his or her needs. Allowing for adjustment in cant, depth, and retention, the C-5 is truly flexible.

Rock Solid Rifle Case from Flying Circle Bags

Rock Solid Rifle Case from Flying Circle Bags

Transporting firearms is an art form. I’ve tried everything. My go-to case is a long heavy Pelican case that I jam several guns into. But that set-up isn’t practical if I have to walk any distance, or carry the case over rough terrain. Flying Circle Bags has an option that is growing on me–their Scoped Rifle Case is a heavy duty rifle bag that is surprisingly versatile, and very affordable.
