This gun is set up for what I consider to be the perfect “low profile” personal defense rifle. Meaning that to the unknowing it appears to be your grandfather’s rifle but in reality it’s more a kin to a modern artillery piece. This could quite possibly be a perfect back country rifle capable of stopping almost anything given the right distance.

LUX180, a new company launching at SHOT Show 2016, has developed a new way to light up the night. Designated model 34-36 this light is designed to remove all of the bulk associated with the traditional rifle mounted light while still offering powerful illumination at the push of a pad.

New for 2016 is a remarkable product for your AR 15 style rifle. It’s called the LiNQ, you replace the standard pistol grip on your rifle then install the laser light module on your accessory rail. In the grip is the remote control for the light laser. The best part is no wires. The grip and light use wireless communication. This is done via the secure Crimson Trace developed LiNQ interface system.

Remington is turning the big 200. It is not everyday that an American firearms company hits that number.
