BY Clay Martin Published: May 19, 2022 { 1 comment }This is no question the best muzzle device I have seen yet for a short barrel gun. Worth every penny. If you have an AR pistol or SBR that needs taming, there is a new Sheriff in town. And its name is Hellfire LFS.
The Curious Origins of the Ghillie Suit
BY Will Dabbs Published: May 19, 2022 { 5 comments }Though they have really changed very little over the past century, the ghillie suit remains an integral part of the modern sniper’s kit. Wherever men institutionally kill each other there will be precision marksmen decked out in fluffy earth tones creeping about in the brush visiting death upon their enemies. Born in South Africa in the late 19th century, the ghillie suit remains a timeless sniper tool even today.

BY True Pearce Published: May 18, 2022 { 5 comments }The reason I personally want all my suppressors and machine guns in an NFA/Gun Trust is simply for this one reason: it makes it possible for other people to legally possess my suppressors, SBR’s, or automatic guns.
Maxim Defense 7.62×39
BY Clay Martin Published: May 15, 2022 { 4 comments }Maxim Defense entered the fray just a few years back as a disruptor to the “same old, same old” firearms industry. They were initially known for their debut PDW brace and stock, a marvel of engineering. Through what we can only assume was a vision on Mescaline, Maxim managed to shorten the normal buffer system of an AR to 1/3rd the length while retaining full spring strength and buffer weight. Not just regular buffers either. They make them all the way up to H3, which is near double standard. Which would prove to be important later, like this week.

BY Published: May 15, 2022 { 1 comment }If you have been reloading or researching reloading for any length of time, you have probably heard of the term “annealing”. If you haven’t, then you have seen evidence of it before. If you look at the necks of some ammunition, you’ll see some almost-rainbow colors somewhere just down from the shoulder of the case. That is evidence of annealing. There are some advantages for reloaders to use this process as well, and the purpose of this article is to familiarize you with the concept and demonstrate a simple way to anneal your cases.
The Romeo5 Predator – Ain’t Got Time to Bleed
BY Travis Pike Published: May 15, 2022 { 0 comments }In the gun world, Predator can mean a lot of things. Typically Predator is a name applied to hunting optics, gun, camouflage finishes, and the like. The Predator namesake in this regard has nothing to do with hunting. It’s a reference to the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film featuring an alien-hunting A team of black ops commandos in the jungle. How does that translate to an optic?
The Biscari Massacre: The Winners Write the History
BY Will Dabbs Published: May 15, 2022 { 10 comments }The winners write the history, and war is bad. Normal men forced into such abnormal circumstances are frequently driven to do things that seem unnatural from the comfort of our living rooms. The very act of combat is the most repugnant of human pursuits.
Beretta 1301 Redux
BY Clay Martin Published: May 8, 2022 { 9 comments }A while back, we took our initial look at the Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun. The Tactical was an evolution from the 1301 competition, a gun which I needed no introduction to. The 1301 represents the pinnacle of semi-auto shotgun technology, and that is coming from a Benelli guy. The 1301 absolutely stole the show when it was introduced in 2012.
