I’m a huge believer in self-defense, stand your ground, and the Second Amendment. I would struggle with being Drejka’s defense attorney in this case because I think he took a life that he wasn’t justified in taking.

“I went down to the ground and that’s when he put his knee on my back and hit me on my sides,” he continued. “I thought it was over. I was expecting to get shot anywhere in the back, or my head, really, the way he had me.”

“My employee yelled stop that man,” Crouch said. “I turned and looked and saw Mr. White running from the gun bar toward the front of the store with a firearm in his hand. At the front door is where I stopped him. I tackled him to the ground. We apprehended him, um, and detained him. We secured the firearm.”
