A man leaving a gun range found himself in a robbery attempt that quickly escalated into a shootout. And at least one alleged robber paid the price.

During the chase, a police K-9 was deployed and reportedly stabbed. At one point, an officer fell, and the suspect turned back toward him with the knife still in hand. Officers fired.

One resident told reporters he was thankful the armed neighbor acted when he did, saying the situation was unlike anything he’d ever experienced in what he described as a normally quiet area.

This case isn’t about a random act of violence. It’s about known criminals, ignored warning signs, and a woman who was forced to defend herself inside her own home against people she once knew.

Early Tuesday morning turned into a very bad decision tree for two would-be car thieves in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Police in Texarkana, Texas are investigating a deadly early-morning shooting that left a teenage boy dead following what authorities believe was an attempted car burglary.

Jail records identify the suspects as Connor Davis and Arqua Jenkins, both 29. Investigators say both men were armed at the time of the incident.

The intruder, described by police as a man in his 40s, was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

That should have been the end. Instead, prosecutors charged him with multiple counts of murder and unlawful use of a weapon, arguing he “could have just left.”
