CZ-USA has released two updated shotguns, the double-barrelled Bobwhite G2 and the new camo and synthetic stock version of the CZ 1012.

CZ-USA’s P-10 is not a new pistol. The subcompact, compact and full frame models have die-hard fans. What is new is that these guns are now made in the USA, and they’re now optics-ready out of the box.

CZ-USA’s new Bren 2 Ms large format pistol is their ideal remake of the 805 Bren. It’s a short stroke gas piston pistol chambered for 5.56 or 7.62x39mm, and each caliber is available with barrels ranging from 8”/9”, 11”, or 14”. The 5.56 uses standard AR mags, while the 7.62 using proprietary magazines.

CZ USA is working on stocking shelves across America with brand-new BREN 2 complete rifles in 5.56x45mm NATO and 7.62x39mm.

After several months in the works, CZ-USA will now be making P-10 pistols right in the heart of the U.S., Kansas City. They’re also expanding the series with subcompact and full-size models.

The notice specifically states that the new Sub Compact Weapon, or SCW, needs to be a “highly concealable sub compact weapon system capable of engaging threat personnel with a high volume of lethal and accurate fires at close range with minimal collateral damage.”

CZ came out of the gate swinging this year, with a couple of items sure to please the crowd. Most notably, they’ve entered the suppressor game.

With 2017 now in our rearview, I’d like to briefly look back on the “best of times” from 2017. What I consider to be some of the best new handguns brought to market last year.
