Gun enthusiasts often debate the merits and demerits of various firearm carry styles. One that often sparks controversy is the Appendix Inside the Waistband (AIWB), also known as “appendix carry.”

Once only seen on expensive, tricked-out race guns – the ability to mount an electronic sight to the handgun has become much more commonplace.

The pistols are available in both standard and MRD (micro red dot) configurations as well as both black and flat dark earth (FDE) finishes.

In recent months I’ve dived headfirst into pocket pistols and have attempted to find what works best from small guns.

I was first introduced to Blue Force Gear’s Helium Whisper technology earlier this year, and came away very impressed. Helium Whisper is a new laser cut space ninja type fabric that weighs, as the name implies, nothing. Picking it up, you would think it might be fragile. On that count, you would be wrong. Despite feeling like nothing, as well as being very thin, you can’t tear it.

Finding a pistol that is easily concealed on a small frame has historically required compromising on at least one component. Then Sig Sauer came along with the P365.
