Enter the 507 Comp, more reticle options, and a bigger and taller lens.  This optic is primarily intended for use on a pistol, specifically a competition pistol. 

The Carry Comp series is something I am very excited to see hit the market. Where weapon light compatibility and optic cuts have almost become standard among production carry guns, a factory low-profile compensator is just icing on the cake.

Turkish firearms manufacturer, Panzer Arms, launched a full-featured competition-style shotgun at SHOT Show this year. It’s got all the features you’d add for 3 gun competitions, but it seems to do it for less than the base cost of many semi-auto shotguns.

A major trend at SHOT Show this year is 2011 competition-style 9mm pistols, but Beretta’s new 92XI Squalo joins the 9mm race gun pack as a distinctly non-1911 option.

JP Enterprises introduced the JPRFX at this year’s Shot Show. This rifle is available in a side charging option called the SCI-20, or the top-charging CTR-02.

These guns might not be the best option compared to a custom, built-for-you rifle, but they give you a great place to start and make easing into competition easy.
