This calls for a celebration. NightForce may have just unveiled the holy grail of Illuminated Low Power Variable (ILPV) optics with its new 1-8X ATACR. The military and 3-Gun competitors have been searching for the perfect low power illuminated scope for the last 20 years.

This week, we are diving into Friday with a classic pistol drill, the notorious El Presidente. Usually attributed to Jeff Cooper as the creator, this is one you need to master if you want to hang with the cool kids.

Deep cover concealed carry comes with a bit of a conundrum: the deeper you carry your gun, the longer it may take to access it. And as you know, the whole point of concealed carry is to be able not only to access a defensive tool but also to do so very quickly.

These guns may have been out for only a few years, but they demonstrate what enterprising companies can do with all of the excellent computer-aided design and machining available to them today.

So how does this affect anyone out there buying patches? Well, from a Veteran perspective, it is pretty humbling that people want the badge of our units.

I am going to spend it living out my personal faith convictions, that tell me I cannot repay evil for evil, that I must turn the other cheek, that I must pray for my enemies, that I don’t get to take an eye for an eye.

The inflated cost, like the process, is another way to guarantee that these guns end up in the hands of serious collectors and hobbyists. Not your average Joe Public.
