It has been a minute since the Springfield Armory Hellcat was introduced, and the little gun that could has certainly been making some waves. A contender to the micro 9mm title belt, the Hellcat came out swinging. Not only did it offer the highest capacity in its class, but it quickly garnered a reputation for toughness and reliability. So today, we are going to take a look at some of the new developments for your Hellcat.

Summer is upon us, and soon (if not already) ladies will be trading their jeans, leggings and, flannel for summer dresses, sandals and, flowy skirts. These softer, cooler fabrics are typically not well suited to carrying a firearm, which is one of the reasons that a concealed carry purse is a great option for many ladies in summer.

As the SIG P320 family of pistols continues to evolve, we see more and more specific needs addressed. This week, we got our hands on the latest model tailored to CCW, the RXP Compact. As the name implies, this is a new X Frame Compact size, red dot ready out of the box. And for some of you, this is exactly the variant you have been looking for.

One of the most obvious gaps in any CCW system is the wearing of workout gear. I’ve noticed, you’ve noticed, and we can bet the bad guys have noticed.

The reason you are here is because you want to make your own pistol holster. By literally taking things into your own hands you can save money, add features, or further simplify to your liking. For my purpose I chose to use Kydex, a thermoform plastic, due to it’s great retention and ease of forming.

The entire XDS line up shoots like a house on fire, and the OSP is no exception. Sized perfectly to carry extremely well, but still be a shooter on the range, this gun is hands down a winner.

When review time came around on the XL model, I gave it a hard pass. I was very happy with my normal-sized P365 and I wanted nothing to do with an abomination. But could this new, slightly larger model hold up in a CCW role? Despite being bitten in the past, I had to find out. So I got one, got some gun leather, and started carrying it.

43X is a serious contender for best CCW gun of all time. Even at 10 rounds, from the factory, the 43X is pretty damn good. But boosted with Shield Arms mags? This is a package that is very hard to beat.

Smith & Wesson have done well selling their M&P 380 Shield EZ. Now they have answered the demand and introduced the easy to use M&P9 Shield EZ in 9mm. True Pearce, who owns the .380 version, spoke with Sith & Wesson at SHOT Show 2020.
