A would-be thief in Fort Dodge, Iowa, thought he’d found a soft target in Discount Textbooks. Instead he got schooled. When the assailant pulled a can of mace on 22-year-old Jessica McDonald, a clerk at the store, McDonald pulled a .40 pistol.

Proof: Martial Law Coming! – Military Vehicle Train Slams Semi

For the last 60 days there have been scattered reports, and some Youtube videos, of long trains, miles long, carrying miles and miles of military vehicles. Nobody seems to know what these vehicles are called, but they seem to be more about armament than they are about weapons. Many have speculated that they are the perfect protection vehicle for Martial Law, which many thing is around the corner pending a financial collapse.
This is actual proof that these military trains do exist. One of them hit a semi-truck stalled on the train tracks today in Chowchilla California.

Aurora Shooting Witness Sues – $25k Settlement from Cops

A week after the Aurora shooting Jim Mapes carried a revolver into a theater in Thornton Colorado, and was arrested. He had a concealed carry permit, but the gun was carried openly on his belt, legal under Colorado law (except Denver). Mr. Mapes had apparently been a witness to the Batman movie shooting, but though he carried his gun that day, was only questioned by police at that time. On this occasion, a week later, a patron at the theater called the police on him and the police, ignorant to the laws apparently, arrested him. In the settlement the police (of course) admitted no wrongdoing, but settled the case for $25,000.

Mossberg 715P Duck Commander – Maybe the Coolest Plinker Ever – New Gun Review

{ 6 comments }

The name Mossberg instantly conjures images of “best in class” shotguns and a company moniker that has earned a place among the few elite firearms makers in the U.S., or even the world. If you’ve been paying attention over the past few years, you may also know that Mossberg has made a strong entry into the modern sporting rifle (AR-15, etc.) market. But when you open the box containing the 715P Duck Commander—even when you know what’s inside—your mouth will open just a little bit, and you may be heard muttering, “Cool!”

BREAKING: Gun Bills Already Back on the Table

BREAKING: Gun Bills Already Back on the Table

Already Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal has taken up the sword for new gun laws following the Elliot Rogers shooting. As we have warned several times, including this past week in a review of a new 2nd Amendment film, mental health is the Trojan Horse upon which the anti-gunners, and many pro-gun people, think we can find common ground. Such would be the case if the mental health profession wasn’t run by lockstep progressives and moonbats who only got into the profession to see if they could figure out what was wrong with them.

Elliot Rogers Shooting – What is Wrong With This Picture?

Don’t worry, this is not a speculative piece that the shooting in Isla Vista California is some kind of false flag or hoax. Though it is odd that the author of The Hunger Games lives in Sandy Hook, CT., and this shooting was allegedly done by the assistant director for one of the shooting locations on the first movie. It is also kind of strange that Janet Napolitano, the former head of Homeland Security, is the president of the school that this campus town is connected to. It is also really weird, as Jon Rappaport at NoMoreFakeNews.com points out, that in 2001, in the same town, Isla Vista, another director’s son (this guy directed Ally McBeal), ran down and killed someone as well, because of a girl…on the 23rd of the month. But enough of that. Lets get on to what’s really upside down about this story.

HuffPo Says Bring Sticks to a Gunfight! – How to Respond to an Active Shooter, Huffpo to the Rescue!

How do you respond to an active shooter? I mean really? If the shooter is active and shooting, how should you respond? Well look no further. Personal Security Expert Robert Siciliano and The Huffington Post have finally provided us with the advice we’ve all been searching for.

I have to hand it to Huffpo. I’m glad they’ve tackled this delicate topic. I’ve been looking for an authoritative opinion. I don’t like to think too much, so having a bonafide expert tell me what to do is a genuine boon. And it is nice to know that the Huffington Post cares enough about my safety that it would take the time to pen this little DIY how-to. So what’s their best advice?

California College Bans Book because of Gun on the Cover

California College Bans Book because of Gun on the Cover

This sounds like an April fools gag, but it isn’t. It is May. After agreeing to sponsor Santa Barbara City College’s Annual Scramble, a golf tournament that raises funds for the college’s athletic department, Maloney asked if he could set up a table and sign a few books. An author who is helping to sponsor a college fundraiser wants to sign some books? Seems like business as usual. And it was, until the college judged the book Breakfast Ball by its cover. Someone at the college got cold feet, and Maloney’s book was banned from the tournament.

As we mentioned in our earlier piece, College Bans Book Because of Gun on Cover, author J.M. Maloney, an avid golfer and mortgage financier, has been caught up in a strange mix of First and Second Amendment politics. Maloney and his Brad Stephens series of murder mysteries were barred from a recent charity golf tournament at Santa Barbara City College because of a pistol on the cover of Maloney’s novel Breakfast Ball. Rather than cave under the pressure of censorship, Maloney wants to get the gun details right, and he’s looking to GunsAmerica readers for suggestions.
