Earlier this month, I had a chance to go to the Smith and Wesson Headquarters in Massachusetts for a writers event and had the chance to see some great new guns and gear from the entire family of Smith & Wesson companies. Read on to find out what I saw.

I cut my teeth on Remington rifles and have owned my fair share of custom and factory offerings but I kept hearing how superior the Tikka rifles were. There was a time when I just considered that big talk and now that I’ve had a Tikka T3X Compact Tactical in my hands, I don’t think it’s all talk.

Savage is well-known for producing rifles that outperform their price points. In fact, they often can outshoot rifles that cost twice as much or more. I recently had a chance to try out the 10 BA Stealth, which is designed to be lightweight, simple, and above all accurate.

This MasterPiece Arms (MPA) rifle is impressive. When I opened the box of this puppy at my FFL, I floated into a state of rifle euphoria. And, the fact that it is from a company that made its name producing semi-automatic versions of stamped sheet steel SMGs makes it all the more impressive.
