During SHOT show I was able to catch up with Charlie Holder, Owner and CEO of Sure Shot Game Calls. Last year he showed us the 60th anniversary Signature Cowboy Classic limited-edition call, but it wasn’t quite ready yet. This year the Signature Cowboy Classic is available and comes in a new wooden display box with numbered certificate of authenticity. It is limited to 1,959 pieces.
The Signature Cowboy Classic comes in a wooden display box with a hidden hinge system and magnetic latch. The call itself is made from high grade walnut with a flat finish and features a laser engraved James Fernandez’s signature with call number and Sure Shot logo. The double reed system has brass eyelets for added reliability and keeps them functioning under all conditions. All Sure Shot game calls are 100% American made with American materials. They are hand assembled and hand tuned for that perfect sound. Each call is shipped with a hand numbered certificate of authenticity.
The Signature Cowboy Classic honors the life and memory of James “Cowboy” Fernandez, the original founder of Sure Shot Game Calls who passed away in August of 2018. Cowboy is famous in the game call world as being the original designer of the patented double reed and triple reed duck calls. The unique body design with the double reed system make it easy for hunters of all skill levels to use and get those desirable duck-like sounds.
You can purchase the Signature Cowboy Classic from Sure Shot Game Calls for $149.
