Taurus took one of its most revered products, the Judge revolver, and gave it an Executive Grade (EG) makeover.
The result is, as managing editor True Pearce observed at Industry Day at the Range, “Impressive. Very impressive.”
The EG Judge comes with presentation-grade wood grips, a brushed hand-applied satin-stainless steel finish, and a double-action trigger boasted to be one of the best, if not the best, on the market.
And that’s all, right outta the box from the Taurus factory!

But make no mistake about it. This five-shooter isn’t a safe queen. It’s meant for action.
It’s part of the reason why the design team included a brass insert front sight, as opposed to a fiber optic one. They wanted to go with a material that was extremely durable. One that would have no problem standing up to the great outdoors.
Chambered in .45 Colt with the ability to also shoot .410 shells, the Executive Grade Judge has you covered — from jackrabbits to mountain lions, and everything in between.
MSRP is a reasonable $949, considering that this is a premium offering. The EG Judge is shipping now, to a dealer near you! For more information visit TaurusUSA.com.

My buddy has an OG Judge. It’s a fine wheelie. This one is cute, but might be best to save the $ for ammo and get the plain jane.
Certainly looks nice! But, no where in any write-up, is the capability of 3″ shells mentioned, or for that matter, no mention that it is only for 2 1/2″ shells. Assumptions must be made, and you know what is said about assumptions……l
Hmm not too bad of a price for a tuned piece. I wonder if the speed loaders I have for my Circuit Judge will work in it?
Any yaya can hit a running rabbit with a long gun ( shotgun) now try it with a .410 revolver. Humbling comes to mind. Yes your buddies will rag you. The dogs will snub you. But you’ll have more fun than youve had in years.
