If you’re looking for a value-priced AR-15, Stag Arms is a must see. The company’s been building US-made ARs for the last decade. And when I say US-made, I don’t mean US assembled. Stag Arms makes every part, except for the plastic parts and a few springs, right here in the US of A. The plastic parts and springs are made here too, just not at the Stag plant. Stag, known for building left handed ARs for all us lefties, just announced two new left-handed guns. So wipe that smug smile off your face, righties. We got one too. The new rifles are the left-handed versions of the Model 3T and 3T-M Series. These ARs are chambered for 5.56, meaning they can shoot both 5.56 and .223. Guns chambered for .223 can’t fire 5.56. But you already knew that. The difference between the two series is in how the guns are outfitted. The 3T has polymer DiamondHead front and rear sights, the 3T-M has aluminum DiamondHead sights. The 3T wears a mil-spec collapsible stock, the 3T-M, a Magpul ACS, and so forth. Check it out in the video. It’s much better to see it with your own eyes. Plus Julie’s a lot easier on the peepers than my blather.
I do not care what any body says I shoot left handed although I shoot left handed Benelli I always think the left-handed gun keep junk out of your eyes
I could cry but doesn’t sound legal in the Peoples Republik If Kalifornia.
Julie Mac is wack.
How about making an action that can handle a .308, .338 Federal, etc.?
Now your talking Thor, I would order a .308 in a heart beat if one came out with Stag Arms. I am a leftie and I really appreicate Stag thinking of us guys.

What the author doesn’t know is that US made ARs in .223- Olympic, RRA, and Colt- are Wylde chamber dimensioned and can shoot 5.56mm. Read up, Mr. Shot Show Guy.
I am right-handed and have a Stag LH upper.
What possible reason? It’s the basis for my space gun.
The setup is really quite handy for single-load feeding during standing and prone slow fire stages of NRA highpower competitions.
That may be one of the more unusual uses for the LH upper, but it’s sure worked well for me.
My Stag uppers and lowers have been uniformly excellent.
I own a Stag Model 8, and it’s a perfectly good AR, but I have a real problem with them making the left-ejecting guns. I’m a lefty, and have always shot standard rifles with no problem. Left handed guns are a gimmick, any AR with a brass deflector is functionally ambidextrous, and lefties who buy crap like that are doing it wrong.
I shoot left handed and have always purchased left-handed rifles whenever possible. Sure, at the range, with my safety glasses on, I could care less about shooting a standard righty AR, but if I’m out in the field with no glasses on, I don’t want that action opening in my face. I shoot both eyes open, so maybe that’s why it bothers me so much. Gimmick? No, just personal preference. I can’t wait until Stag comes out with a lefty in 7.62 NATO.
There’s are more issues involved in LH/RH than the ejection port. It’s an ergonomics package that goes beyond that. Things like safety release, mag release, charging handle location, are also factors. You, like many other LH shooters have adapted to rifles optimized for R/H shooters. That’s all well and fine. But to say that the LH version of this is “crap”, and buying one is “doing it wrong” seems a little bit off to me. Many of the functions mentioned above can be alleviated with “ambidextrous” after market products. I think that rather than “doing it wrong”, Stag is actually “doing it right”. They made the whole package correct for left handed shooters. Of course, if the LH shooter has grown very comfortable shooting “RH” rifles, the LH configuration will probably feel “wrong”.
I love my Stag model 3 LH . after a few up grades it is now BATTLE READY . one week end a month my Stag takes a beating and it has never had a hick-cup . even with mud in the bolt and trigger
