SIG Sauer and ZEV Technologies have teamed up to make a new line of premium P320 pistols that come with all the bells and whistles. Together they’re launching with two models and an assortment of upgrades and accessories for P320 owners.
“We’re extremely excited to venture into the world of SIG Sauer,” said ZEV director Dan Groce. “The ZEV Team has worked diligently to design P320 gun mods that will not only enhance aesthetics, but also enhance end user performance in all conditions.”
The two complete ZEV P320 pistols are the Z320 XCompact and Z320 XCarry, and both are optics-ready handguns with mini red dot optic mounts, ported barrels and slides and a two-tone finish with Titanium Gray slides and black frames and controls.
Both are chambered for 9mm Luger and have a 15+1-round capacity. The difference between the two is that the XCarry has a slightly longer barrel and slide assembly than the XCompact. The XCarry also weighs a hair more at 23 ounces and change over the XCompact’s 22 ounces.
The first two Z320 pistols have Octane-pattern slides with large front and rear slide serrations, fiber optic Combat sights with a rear ledge, X-series flat triggers and custom X-series diamond-pattern laser-stippled grip modules. Both come standard with two magazines.
And they have all of the other features that have made the P320 line of handguns so successful, including a modular, serialized fire control group, modular design and ambidextrous and reversible controls including the slide stop and thumb safety.

For anyone looking to upgrade a P320 they already own, ZEV is also offering complete slides and barrels separately. They have three Octane slide assemblies in XCarry, XCompact and XFull-size options with gray diamond-like coating finishes, three barrels in the same sizes with black DLC finishes and their Combat sights, too.
Like a lot of ZEV products these aren’t inexpensive but they are competitive with other semi-custom service pistols. The complete guns have a $1,299 sticker while the slides run $420, the barrels $199 and the sights $99.
Hopefully, this is just a start for ZEV. The X320 pistols look great but there’s always room for more. For additional info about these and other ZEV products, head over to their website.
Will they shoot the same bullets as my plain old 320 Compact?
You wrote, “…reversible controls including the slide stop and thumb safety.” Are you sure about the thumb safety, because I have yet to see a pic of the Zev or Wilson Combat X320 with the thumb safety.
