SIG Sauer and and the custom gun experts at Wilson Combat have teamed up to produce a high-end line of P320 pistols for carry and competition. They are also offering their in-house designed grip separately for existing P320 owners.

Wilson Combat is offering six versions of the P320 for now, all full-size, with black and black and tan models to start. They have three versions of each, all with different trigger options.

All of the Wilson Combat P320 pistols come with a completely redesigned slide profile with diamond checkered slide serrations at the front, rear and the full length of the top, to reduce glare. The pistols have combat-style rear sights with a sharp ledge and a thin fiber optic front sight for improved visibility.

The grip has improved ergonomics with a large beavertail, a deeply undercut trigger guard and aggressive stippling on the front and backstraps. The grip features Wilson Combat’s starburst pattern on both sides.

One small but nice touch are a set of “memory pads” along the sides of the frame in front of the trigger to help users maintain trigger discipline. The frame also has a beveled magwell for fast and easier reloads. It works with standard P320 magazines including extended magazines.

All are chambered for 9mm Luger and have a 17+1-round capacity. They’re close to SIG’s size and weight for full-size P320 pistols with a 4.7-inch barrel, an unloaded weight of 29 ounces, measuring 1.5 inches wide at the widest, 5.5 inches tall and a little over 8 inches long.

The guns sport a black diamond-like carbon PVD finish for extreme durability on the slide and barrel.

Like many Wilson Combat offerings these aren’t inexpensive handguns, but they are less expensive than many other Wilson Combat products. The base price for the black and the black and tan models is $1,195. Both can be upgraded with a Gray Guns match trigger with user’s choice of a straight or curved trigger for $155 more, bringing the total price to $1,350.

These are boutique guns and while it’s possible to find them for less, buyers will likely pay the full sticker price shopping through Wilson Combat.

If you already have a P320 and don’t want to drop $1,200 you can get a taste of Wilson Combat and buy the custom grip module separately for just $45. They offer both full-size and carry grip modules in black and tan.

Hopefully we’ll see more from Wilson Combat and SIG on this front with compact models and other premium modifications.

Maybe they will introduce a carry size options later. They only list full size pistols now. What a shame.
