Real Avid has been crushing the do-it-yourself (DIY) gun work market for years. Whether it’s for cleaning, assembly, scope mounting, or whatever other tools you need to maintain your firearms, they’ve been building it for years.

This year they came out in full force at SHOT Show 2023 with 18 new product offerings. The largest and most impressive, in my opinion, is the Master Gun Workstation. This is far more than just a gun vise or rest, it’s loaded with features.

It has a rear ratcheting foam-lined Trigger Clamp to hold the back end of the gun and a forward gun gripper rest that is adjustable up to 18.3 inches of travel along the dual tubular guides. The forward rest is also adjustable for height with the push of a button.

Each corner of the Workstation has height-adjustable, non-slip feet to allow leveling the workstation and holes to allow screwing to the bench for a more permanent mounting. At each of these corners there is also a small parts/ tools storage area to help keep your workspace organized.

Base leveling adjustment and storage area.

Once you have it level it should make mounting scopes a lot easier. In addition, on the Trigger Clamp (rear end) there is an Accu-Level knob that allows tilting up to 3 degrees in either direction.

The Master Gun Workstation retails for $199.99!

As if all that wasn’t enough there is a tray mounted on the tubular rails that is magnetic for holding small parts and provides the mounting sockets for the Smart-Assist Accessory System. The Accessory system comes with three flexible arms for holding the accessories just where you need them.

Rechargeable light, charging port, battery indicator, and power button

One accessory is a rechargeable work light that has three power levels depending on what you need to illuminate. Number two is a 5-inch magnifying glass to allow you to see details and small parts, and the third is a cell phone holder to allow you to watch videos of what you need to be doing. Or you can record yourself working if you’d like.

The kit retails for $99.99
