Push to DePlatform Pro-2A YouTubers?

Look, it’s no secret that there’s an all-out war against pro-2A social media influencers. Anti-gunners hate the fact that freedom-loving Americans can openly view examples of responsible gun ownership online, 24/7.

Such content cripples their ability to push the false narrative that firearms and firearm owners are a curse on the nation. As a result, they’re constantly doing whatever they can to de-platform us.

The latest salvo in this saga comes via an NBC News article that acts as a mouthpiece for Everytown for Guns Safety. The specific target in this case is the embattled Larry Vickers.

In the eyes of the Bloomberg-funded machine, Vickers who has pled guilty to felony charges should be censored and prohibited from engaging with his hundreds of thousands of fans on social media.

“YouTube is a cesspool of violent and irresponsible gun content,” Justin Wagner, senior director of investigations at Everytown, said in a statement to NBC News.

“Videos that teach civilians military shooting tactics or whose sole purpose is to glamorize fully automatic weapons of war go far beyond educational content for responsible civilian gun owners and shouldn’t be permitted on YouTube’s platform,” he added.

Braden from Langley Outdoors Academy addressed this issue in his latest video (see above). He interprets this assault on Vickers as a pretext for broader actions against gun channels on YouTube.

He also believes that this is an attempt to limit information access and control the narrative around gun ownership. And, there’s no doubt he’s right.

As GunAmerica previously reported, this aggressive posture against pro-2A content began as far back as 2017 when the video hosting platform expanded its pre-existing policy against “harmful and dangerous content” to include videos that show users how to modify firearms, vis a vis bump stocks and other accessories.

Everytown, not content with criticism, scored a coercive victory in December 2021 when YouTube removed nine “ghost gun” videos. The crusade intensified with a February 2022 letter from Democratic Senators like Blumenthal and Murphy, demanding YouTube to crack down on similar content.

In August 2022, Everytown again targeted YouTube, audaciously linking firearm-related videos to violent incidents like the Buffalo supermarket shooting.

This series of actions marks more than just an effort to limit pro-2A online presence; it’s a blatant attack on our freedoms. And, as Braden pointed out, the media lapdogs are all too eager to assist in this affront.

The question now is, what are we going to do about it?

YouTube isn’t and never was meant to be about “educational” videos. Hell, 98% of the videos on there are “entertainment”. If your trying to get rid of gun videos because they’re not “educational”, you’ll have to get rid of 98% of the rest of the videos too…

So…F the Constitution, this is just strait up censorship…Adolph much lefties?? It’s like they have Hitlers portrait up next to bidens in their offices. I have a lot of books on military subjects and history of our once great nation, a Bible or two and probably somewhere a decades old copy of the anarchist cookbook. I better take em all outside and burn them before I get in trouble. Oh and erase my YouTube app.

The consensus view of the Left is that democracy cannot function if people who disagree with them are allowed to participate in it.
