This week, prosecutors alleged that Alec Baldwin exhibited a complete loss of emotional control and endangered others on the set of the movie “Rust,” ultimately leading to the tragic shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in New Mexico in 2021.

These accusations surfaced in new court documents following Baldwin’s efforts to have the involuntary manslaughter charge against him dismissed, reports NBC News.

The controversy intensified with the release of footage from the set, showing Baldwin firing prop guns in the New Mexico desert.

Prosecutors argue that this footage is just a fraction of the evidence demonstrating Baldwin’s alleged recklessness.

“To watch Mr. Baldwin’s conduct on the set of ‘Rust’ is to witness a man who has absolutely no control of his emotions and absolutely no concern for how his conduct effects those around him,” said prosecutors.

This fatal incident, which occurred when a prop gun Baldwin was using discharged a real bullet that wasn’t supposed to be there, resulted in Hutchins’ death and also wounded director Joel Souza.

This tragic outcome followed only days after the aforementioned footage was captured.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who handled the weapons on the set, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter last month and is now awaiting sentencing on April 15.

The state’s response to Baldwin’s motion to dismiss the indictment was scathing, pointing to a pattern of behavior that they argue led to the tragedy.

“The combination of a Hannah Gutierrez’s negligence and inexperience and Alec Baldwin’s complete lack of concern for the safety of those around him would prove deadly for Halyna Hutchins,” the prosecutors emphasized.

Baldwin had previously claimed in an interview with George Stephanopoulos that he “didn’t pull the trigger.”

However, prosecutors have challenged this claim, describing it as misleading and counter to the findings of a year-long investigation by law enforcement.

“In sum, every time Mr. Baldwin spoke, a different version of events emerged from his mouth,” the filing said.

Some footage from the set also shows Baldwin halting takes over safety concerns, somewhat contradicting the prosecution’s portrayal of his behavior.

In one instance, he is heard saying, “You’re going to break your neck. I want you to go on the nicest path.”

However, prosecutors allege that Baldwin rushed the crew, particularly Gutierrez, to work faster, actions they claim further compromised safety on set.

As Baldwin’s trial is set for July, there is growing public interest in how these serious allegations will be addressed in court.

I heard a message this cretin left on a phonemail for his daughter. berating her for not replying. aleck has a temper and I think the victim paid the price for triggering him.this is speculation but if true he likely committed murder 2 (non-premeditated murder) of course he will escape man’s justice.

He has enough power and money to get out of this, they will make a big show about how they are prosecuting him but behind the scenes people will get paid and he will either get a symbolic charge with little or no jail time or walk Scott free.

He is on film, waving people around with that gun, bullying those not moving fast enough, as well as one clip showing him firing that gun after the director called Cut!
We should be able to see, at the trial, the proof of/if the live ammo plinking session. Curious how those claimants were vanished…

No excuse for Baldwin’s total negligence. His arrogant and narcissistic behavior placed him(self) above all elementary-level safety procedures. Playing the “victim” in this scenario, is the predictable response from the staunch leftist that he is. He’s a careless murderer, and deserves a prison sentence no different than a lowlife ghetto-rat.

As an experienced Actor on literally hundreds of sets, and as Baldwin is a man of extensive experience in the world, with extensive experience with firearms on sets, He SHOULD have known the dangers of such hurried events. He claims to be intelligent, and worldly. Therefore, he MUST be held accountable for at least SOME portion of this tragic event! There is NO getting around it, HE controls people with his influence as a MAJOR Hollywood actor, and has extensive background in this kind of set.
Alec Baldwin screwed the pooch, plain and simple. He MUST be held accountable.

Having witnessed firsthand the interactions of union and non union workers on the same jobsite, it would not surprise me, considering the issues that had occurred on site before this tragedy, that a pro-union employee put that live round into that firearm in the hope that it would cause a
non-lethal firing of the firearm that would be a catalyst for increased union presence onset.
