Proof: Martial Law Coming! – Military Vehicle Train Slams Semi

in Uncategorized

For the last 60 days, there have been scattered reports, and some Youtube videos, of long trains, miles long, carrying miles and miles of military vehicles. Nobody seems to know what these vehicles are called, but they seem to be more about armament than they are about weapons. Many have speculated that they are the perfect protection vehicle for Martial Law, which many think is around the corner pending a financial collapse.

This is actual proof that these military trains do exist. One of them hit a semi-truck stalled on the train tracks today in Chowchilla, California. This page has the whole story, and as you can see from the two videos, it is clear that this train is carrying more of these vehicles.

Do you know what these are? Where are they going? Why? If so please comment below. No shills allowed, ok.

The train is loaded with these mysterious troop carrier vehicles going... where?

I live by ft hauchuca az I have watched the last 3 weeks I live by the rail ways I have seen 3 trains mile long and carrying tanks and armored vehicles they don’t move that many tank’s for no reason!Today I saw another train! We are going to war soon its not Marshall law its war then Martial law perhaps it will come.We are not being told something no doubt!

  • jon taylor April 19, 2018, 2:58 am

Back in 1966 or so I was 10, we lived a few minutes from the track, it would stop there sometimes. one day it did and had a lot of tanks on it I’d climb all over them or whatever army stuff was on it. Another time it had a few passengers cars on it full of troops, my brother and I got on and talked to the guys. Really cool !!,..for a 10 year old kid, heck it still would be at 62 years young. Hello All, have read a lot but first time post. Thanks…….J.T. the train was headed east toward Pittsburg Kansas about an hour away.

  • SkyGunner February 22, 2018, 7:51 pm

Another possibility. Summer camp for the National Guard and rather than taking their own vehicles, the camp they go to have vehicles already there. The vehicles, after a summer camp, receive damage, mechanical breakdowns.etc…… that’s similar to actual combat( only difference being, there are no anti-tank holes in them) and need rejuvenation from government run motor pools. After they finish they have to be sent back before the camps starts again.. One more possibility. I’m not sure which direction the train was taking, but Ft. Ord is the Army National Training Center for the Regular Army. Units are required to attend it, ( and same as the Guard, vehicles are already in place. Same type vehicles they have at home base)as it simulates actual combat( very realistic) and teaches units co-ordination between units. There is an OP-FOR(opposing force) that uses tactics from different enemies and gets those units familiar with them. The vehicles could have been being sent back after maintenance. The writer must be partaking of too much California grass(pun intended) and freaked out. There are too many other reasons for this vehicle movement shouldn’t cause non-smokers to also freak out. If anyone wants to freak out, do it over antifa, blm and other anarchist groups. How ‘bout the demnazis that support those groups and also encourage armed insurrection by the American people!! They still don’t believe they lost the election, especially after using so many cemetery votes in the elections. Both parties and American citizens have their pelosi’s, but the demnazis are openly aiding and abetting treason, insurrection plus High Misdemeanors so Foul. FBI, CIA, the proof is right before you, just look on the internet and Facebook for your proof beyond a reasonable!

When you live in the most powerful country in the world, you expect it to have some major military stuff. Our country has enemies and rivals and outlaws all over the world, and our armed forces are always training and maneuvering to combat the forces of evil. A normal American would look at these massive movements of amazing military equipment and say to himself “Wow! My family and I are pretty safe from international bad guys.” But imbecile conspiracy buffs see our military as a threat to them. They see poison gas in the clouds, hear clicks on their phones (NSA of course) and subliminal messages in TV commercials (CIA Psy Ops.) They see the current president of the United States as a secret Arab terrorist, and the next president as a proto-fascist in a North Korean style Leisure Suit with Barettaphobia and a pathological hatred of our constitution. Guys, relax – you’re not important enough to require the plots you fear. You can keep your muskets and keep your inaccurately translated bibles, and you can even keep your wives (if you cut back on the booze.)

If there had been a ?, instead of a ! in the title of the article, maby there would not be so much backlash over this?

  • Lt. Dan June 3, 2014, 11:14 pm

What’s troubling is this article was even written in the first place. More ammo for anti’s that want to link mental status to gun possession. Some people can’t separate reality from fantasy or paranoia so we all get tarred with the same brush.

too true……… The more you give the more they use to take more rights away……….. DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU WILL EVER BOARD A PLANE WITHOUT REMOVING YOUR SHOES AND BELT AND A GOOG OLD PAT DOWN (ILLEGAL SEARCH AND …………….. you get the picture)…………..

  • chuckalred123 June 3, 2014, 5:43 pm

glad to see reason out of most of the posts

  • BobB June 3, 2014, 10:05 am

Wow, military vehicles being transported by rail. What will they think of next. Around here they’re loaded on flatbed trailers heading north on the Interstate after being repaired/rebuilt then distributed to various bases in the tri-state area. Always thought they looked cool and made me proud of our military. I suppose if I was as stupid as the author I might think otherwise, but I doubt it.

    • Marty July 3, 2017, 10:19 am

20 years in the military, common place to transfer equipment nationwide, it’s just business as usual, nothing special, no need to create panic. Some vehicles are sent in for repair or upgrades, redistribution of materials. Plane jane cars kill more people on nations roads, but we don’t panic when we see a train full of new cars being shipped to auto dealers do we?

I’m glad we have the equipment, materials and the nations support of our troops.

      • SkyGunner February 22, 2018, 7:58 pm

You got it Marty. If you want to see tanks, PC’s, artillery and other weapons of war on trains, go to Germany, where it happens yr round. After AIT I went to Germany and experienced my first ride on a troop train, with all our 3rd Calvary weapons of war going to Graf. German citizens looked pleased to see us, because they knew we would be protecting them if Warsaw Pact troops came through Fulda Gap and other Invasion routes. I’ve yet to see a German post about it being preparation for martial law. This guys taken in to much California sunshine.

  • Bruce Turmenne June 2, 2014, 9:42 pm

Maybe the rail transport of armored vehicles in not proof of imminent Marshall Law, but lets consider other voices on the matter. Consider Sgt Maj. Dan Page’s recent comments at minutes 48 to 51 at
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XA_yW7Z5OM&feature=youtu.be,
where he states that the US military is receiving one thousand troops (foreign?, can’t make out the term he uses,”spucks-off?” but says they will kill you!) per week into our military bases, and Fort Carson has 25,000 of them right now, and thousands on other bases. Why? Connect the dots friends. I would rather GunAmerica report on all things regards military moves. Thanks GunsAmerica

  • Dennis June 2, 2014, 8:24 pm

I worked for the Southern Pacific railroad in California for almost 2 decades in the 70’s and 80’s. Every summer we moved dozens of trains of military equipment up and down the state for summer training camps, maintenance etc.. No big deal here folks.
It used to be there was a commie under every rock and now this. Then the prisoner cars with chains and shackles (Auto transporters) All of the major western railroads chartered by congress in the 1860’s thru 1880’s agreed to haul troops and equipment for the military as part of their charter. I expect better from gunsamerica than the sky is falling.

  • James Calkins June 2, 2014, 8:11 pm

Need to substantially change the United States? Need to control the constitutional rabble? Need to declare martial law? Need pretext to declare martial law? Have assets in place? Have trained members of alphabet and shadow government groups to man assets? Why not stir the pot by releasing 5 of the worst terrorists back into the fold and over react when they do what we know they will do. Shazzam!!! Crisis in the USA. Must save the government. Why not lower the number of people to have to control. Show those that survive who is boss and those who do survive probably will. Non of this happens in a vacuum. You name the country that was substantially changed without a lot of people shedding blood and or just disappearing. Turn off your TV. Use all the information at your finger tips/keyboard. The real world does not have happy endings where the good guys/gals come back in next weeks episode. For Christ sake look at the uproar over a cartoon dog that was killed off on some primetime show. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. One of the prices we are supposed to pay for liberty and freedom is constant vigilance. Think of the number of people that really have no clue. What are they going to do? Think long and hard. The number is huge and we are all just “one”. Sorry neighbor. Can’t help ya.

  • DAVE June 2, 2014, 8:09 pm

Maybe I am just stupid but if this country had a total financial melt down would you not expect the Govt. to declare marshal law? If that happens they can park one in my driveway. We have a sociaty that will kill you for getting in the way at black friday sale!

  • Mk44 June 2, 2014, 5:24 pm

Gunsamerica, please change your admin password. Seems your no time in life kids have been posting to your account……….Really. I appreciate a good conspiracy as much as the next guy. But as has been pointed out here by others who have been further than halfway around the block this is far from a conspiracy. Familiarize yourself with our armed forces, and terms like NTC & TO&E. I very much look forward to the future post about the Gubment staging Bradleys at Red River Army Depot for the pending Texas Revolution………

  • Noel P. June 2, 2014, 4:26 pm

These are just Stryker 8x8s most likely being brought back from overseas. Some do not have turrets and it appeared some had a simple .50 caliber gun mount. We do not throw these things away, we store them and certain bases get them for that purpose. In the American West you have the ideal climatic setup for weapon, vehicle and aircraft storage. With the drawdown of the Army it is most likely a storage or training issue. Little here to cause a black helicopter rumor.

  • DT8 June 2, 2014, 1:07 pm

@Administrator, you might enjoy Glen Beck’s book The Overton Window. It is a fiction book about how the public’s perception of reality, morality, etc. is being systematically shifted over time. In the book, the main character makes a great point to a conservative opposition group which is, regardless of the validity of their group’s overall beliefs and agenda, they will never be taken seriously because the media will always point the cameras at the most outlandish “freaks” in the bunch…. the rational thinkers won’t get interviewed because the guy in a clown suit spouting nonsense is far better for ratings.

  • BRASS June 2, 2014, 12:53 pm

For those who are worried answer these questions (do a little research) and you will understand:
How many soldiers make up a company, battalion, regiment, division?
How many divisions does the Army have?
    The same for the Marines.
How many vehicles per flat bed rail car?
How many cars were there in that train?
How long is a flat bed rail car?
How many soldiers/Marines are transported in each vehicle?
How many vehicles are allocated per division?
How many vehicles would it take to equip a regiment, battalion or division being deployed?
It’s logistics, not conspiracy. Try logic first before the Babinski Syndrome.

  • BRASS June 2, 2014, 12:46 pm

Either the level and frequency of ignorance regarding our military is frightening or there are a number of folks hoping to have fun with the naive who will react to their nonsensical posts. It would take much too long to explain all the reasons why this video is neither proof of impending martial law nor even justifies the question.

Your fears should be reserved for the civilian agencies like the DHS, DOJ, BLM, ATF, IRS, EPA and others who form the nucleus of all our current problems.

  • Flyboy 1 June 2, 2014, 12:34 pm

Could it be that some folks have their head in the sand??? Be very careful of obama.

  • Philip June 2, 2014, 11:56 am

Do a Google aerial view of the Blue Grass Army Facility in Lexington, Ky. I did and it is reported there are about 500 Armored vehicles which are Marked Dept of Homeland Security Special Response Team. Earlier this spring I saw one on a Low bed trailer at a truck stop on I-81 north of Knoxville. I talked to the driver and he told me where he was coming from and when asked where he was going with it all he said was a location in the Smokey Mountains. I found out the Blue Grass Army Facility is a joint DHS and FEMA facility. Combined with the fact a lot of military and state police groups are receiving training in CIVIL UNREST makes me nervous!!!! God Bless America

Obama trades five leaders of Taliban for one questionable soldier. (was he AWOL or taken captive?) Soldiers father speaks to son via media, in Afghani language, referring in praise of Allah for this release.
Obama frees 38,000 of most violent murders, rapists, pedophiles, into our society, ALL ILLEGALS. Why? They should have been deported.
Obama bows to Saudi prince but ignores prime minister’s (Israel) first visits to US. And gives tapes of his speeches to Queen of England.
Yes, be afraid Americans and be prepared for the worst. It s coming very quickly now………….unless we take action now.

  • Elkhunter June 2, 2014, 11:04 am

In Arizona we have this big installation called Luke AFB. They have been constantly training pilots since 1941. I am pretty sure they are up to no good, but haven’t uncovered there secret agenda yet.

  • Russ June 2, 2014, 10:53 am

If a trainload of ACP’s were to stop, would be worrisome to me
What a sucker move it would be to stop all those military vehicles for a possible terrorist group to take advantage of.
    Engineer, enjoy the snack
Dumb ass trucker, know your route!

  • Don Tros June 2, 2014, 10:47 am

Typically the truth lies somewhere between “martial law in 60 days” and the comment about the “tin foil hat and aliens”. There are two things that are almost certain. The country is heading for a financial disaster and the government is preparing for it. They have been preparing for years but the preparations have increased as they know very well it’s coming. What can be done? Here again there seems to be extremes. Most are doing nothing, expecting the government to save them. Some are building underground bunkers and stocking them with food and guns. Those who are hoping for the government to save them are going to be in big trouble.

  • Just1Spark June 2, 2014, 10:37 am

WOW! We just refuse to get along and find the advantage in every situtation dont we?
How would we ever hope to build a better country if this one gets torn apart, when we treat each other like this?

Personally, the way I see it. There is not enough pure evidence for me to believe this is nefarious in nature.

HOWEVER, if someone wants to ask questions, and postulate scenarios, and keep their eye on this story (and other like it) how is that not an advantage for all of us. We must all be looking everywhere. Not bashing each other for looking at things others think is false/wrong/incorrect or unsubstantiated.

It hurts no one to keep eyes everwhere. And nobody here has even said this IS AND MUST BE AN EVIL TRAIN. It is all just theorizing. Trying to ID possible scenarios and outcomes.

Im not the smartest person in the world. The difference between me and most people is, I know it.
Theres a chance I could be wrong. And i’d gladly take advantage of info I ignored, that someone else has gathered, against all odds.

  • GT June 2, 2014, 10:14 am

Why doesn’t the Military put these surplus Strykers up for sale to the public. I would like to have one to give me a fighting chance, if needed. I would not put ANYTHING past the King and Lords & Ladies in D.C.. Never Happen? That is what they said about Germany, Russia and all of the Dictatorships around the world. It would have happened here before now, if not for our 2nd. Amendment.

  • Keith Hutchings June 2, 2014, 10:03 am

Apparently gunsamerica is a bit on the paranoid side. Get a grip. Manufacturing, shipping, and storage of military vehicles happens in the USA. You would perhaps prefer US assets to be in Canada, or Mexico?

  • Rob Soice June 2, 2014, 9:39 am

“The “this is ridiculous” approach just doesn’t work anymore guys we’ve been through too much.”

Really? At some point, the conspiracy theorists cross into never never land. I don’t like the direction the country is going and I don’t like having my rights infringed with the inability to buy the ammunition I want. The gougers are as large a problem as the government in that arena and I haven’t seen too many articles make reference to them. “We’ve been through too much” almost makes me laugh out loud.

  • Rob Soice June 2, 2014, 9:35 am

NTC is the #1 Urban Combat training center? Ever been to NTC? Nearly every installation has a MOUT and the overwhelming majority are much better than the NTC. The draw is the wide open spaces where maneuverability can be trained and was the premier training center for large armored formation combat training.

  • INF 1LT ABN June 2, 2014, 9:03 am

Not completely certain, but reviewing various types of 8×8 IFV/APC and this one looks to be the “Stryker”
    http://tanknutdave.com/the-us-8×8-stryker-series/
the link even has the red cross variant which is shown in one of the videos.
This vehicle harkens back to 2003 as a replacement for the Bradley IFV with upgrades in 2009, and was one of the earlier double V hull type to protect against IEDs, according to the link above.
could be any one of several reasons to transport them.
relocation/redeployment of assets brought back from front line use to deploy with national guard units ( when I was NG we always got the Vietnam leftovers, well into the late 1980s)
relocation for use in a training operation
    relocation for decommissioning, junkyard storage.
relocation to strategic points within the USA based on a perceived need,(external or internal threat)
So it could be routine stuff, but it could be a strategic relocation of materials.
We aren’t exactly popular with Russian and China at the moment, so if .gov want to position these in a safe place or in a useful place, that’s good thinking. Not sure I am ready to jump on the “FEMA Camp round-up” based on these sightings though.
What eases me is these seem to be US vehicles, a known US troop IFV and not one from a foreign country, and not painted with UN markings.
There are still many good officers and NCOs within our military who will uphold their oath to the US Constitution. Not to mention they have loved ones as US civilians as well.
I really don’t think any nationwide level “FEMA Camp Round-up/ Martial Law” event is likely on a national level with our own troops.
Yes on a very localized level, post Katrina, Post Boston Marathon bombing, there will be these events which defy civil liberties.
But I think it will be very hard for a national level martial event to occur with our own all volunteer troops and officers.
Next time,if the train is full of Russian BTRs with UN markings, let me know.

    • SkyGunner February 22, 2018, 8:15 pm

Exactly INF 1LT ABN. Apparently not many people know what we swear to during enlistment. I enlisted in 1966 and although I don’t remember the entire oath, I remember that we swear to uphold the Constitution and protect our country. We DID NOT swear loyalty to ANY politician or individual! We swore loyalty to OUR COUNTRY!

  • Mark June 2, 2014, 7:59 am

The vehicles on the rail cars are M-1126 “Stryker” Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV). They are currently used by the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. Most likely they are being transferred from one base to another, or to the U.S. Army Reserve and state National Guard units. Seriously, there’s nothing to see here…….

If there had been white U.N. armor vehicles on that train it would be a different matter!

    • Administrator June 2, 2014, 8:21 am

Did he really just say nothing to see here folks?

      • Reggy111 June 2, 2014, 9:17 am

Yes he did say “nothing to see here folks”. He is correct.
As a previous poster stated these vehicles are M-1126 Strykers. JBLM in Washington State is one of the bases that is home to a “Stryker Brigade”.
Stryker brigades have seen extensive combat in Afganistan and Iraq.
Attributing this train to some nefarious government conspiracy of impending martial is simply fear mongering. See wiki link for more info and history of Stryker use.

        http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stryker

This type of wing nut writing does not belong in and should not be associated with Guns America. We do have more legitimate, pressing issues surrounding our Republic. Please focus.

      • laurin dykstra June 2, 2014, 9:40 am

Even a staunch conservative like myself knows that we need to keep our bases supplied with vehicles, armored or not. We certainly seen what happened to Russia’s Army just after their split- everything began to rust away. As much as I am against build up- I realize that we still need a functioning military!! Headlines like the one posted will only hurt the cause, not help.

  • Klayton Hayes June 2, 2014, 7:36 am

California be very thankful for the jobs.

  • Smoke Hill Farm June 2, 2014, 4:48 am

Absurd conclusion based on ZERO evidence. Whoever approved that stupid headline should be REMOVED before gunsamerica gets lumped in with the tinfoil hat brigade.

Thousands of vehicles came back from Iraq and thousands more are coming back from Afghanistan. Thousands more need repair, upgrade & maintenance from posts all over the world. Most go by rail, and often to places you never heard from (civilian subcontractors). A friend of mine works for a company outside of Richmond, Virginia, where every day they get HMMVEEs from all over the world to fix & upgrade.

  • Jerry May 28, 2014, 4:38 pm

Ft. Irwin is the home of the US Army’s National Training Center (NTC). The primary purpose of Ft. Irwin since 2005 is to train solders of the US Army and foreign allies on urban combat techniques. They train to fight in cities there. The military vehicles, if broken and in need of repairs, would go to repair depots, not to the NTC. 2 + 2 here: Long train loaded with APC’s going to the top “urban combat training center” in the United States = …

    • David Lindsay June 2, 2014, 11:57 pm

I have been deployed to NTC twice its not your average mount training it designed to help deploying soldiers familiarize with towns and people in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. NTC primary purpose is to familiarize Battalion and Division level commanders to fight Soviet and Chinese heavy armored units

    • Pedro June 3, 2014, 2:20 am

Military units go to NTC all the time for training. The units in Ft Lewis are getting some urban training and maybe some dessert training. Happens all the time. I lived at Fort Hood in Texas for a number of years units continually rotated in for training both armor and aviation(helos) The military cannot afford to let its training go lax because of someone’s theory. Yes martial law is a possibility but so is an armed revolution . will either happen tomorrow Not likely. Think before having knee jerk reactions to news stories. Saves a lot of BS.

  • Homer Simpson May 28, 2014, 8:14 am

According to your favorite website (HuffPo), KFSN is reporting that the train was headed from Ft Lewis, WA to Ft Irwin, CA. Sounds like a conspiracy, if you ask me!

  • Jerome Krough May 27, 2014, 10:04 pm

    LAV http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LAV-25 http://olive-drab.com/idphoto/id_photos_lav.php
Nothing mysterious about them as they’ve been in service in the Marine Corps since the 1980’s. The train was southbound and most likely headed to the Marine Corps Depot in Barstow, CA. The Depot is where the Marine Corps stores and services their equipment.

    • Administrator May 27, 2014, 10:41 pm

No gun turrets on them. Why would you need one when most people are in wood houses? They need to store and service miles of them?

      • Captain1320 May 28, 2014, 9:27 am

Seriously? The military has been using trains to move armor since the invention of trains and armor. How would you like them to move them? They are being moved uncovered on a big yellow train! Very sneaky if you ask me. I can’t believe this lunatic has actually managed to post this about martial law. Go put the foil helmet on and keep watch for the aliens. I’m sure you’ll be busy selling your conspiracy videos at the next gun show anyway.

        • Administrator May 28, 2014, 10:02 am

Why are they moving miles and miles of armored and lightly armed vehicles? The “this is ridiculous” approach just doesn’t work anymore guys we’ve been through too much.

          • [email protected] June 2, 2014, 10:29 am

This sort of post makes me doubt everything else you say on your site. Can I trust your articles on shooting or survival when you are ignorant enough to believe this sort of tripe? Were you never in the military? Talk to somebody who was before come to these conclusions. What is next, bigfoot?

          • Beachhawk June 2, 2014, 8:06 pm

I have no doubt that if he thought he could get away with it, Obama would declare a national emergency and institute martial law, but I don’t see anything sinister in moving military vehicles by train. It’s done all the time. No one would be happy seeing tracked vehicles traveling on the public highways, destroying the pavement and slowing down traffic.

          • SkyGunner February 22, 2018, 8:19 pm

C’mon administrator. It’s to early for April Fool. Did you write the article? Did you serve? Doubt it.

There are different variations of LAV’s in use. They may not have been complete vehicles either. Yes they need to store and service miles of them. Some of those vehicles will be shipped out to Pendelton and Okinawa as replacement vehicles some will get sent off to prepositioned supply ships and some will remain at the depot. It’s called logistics.

        • Lance Robinson June 2, 2014, 10:58 am

Thank you for trying to insert some logic, knowledge, and sense into this.

The ABC affiliate KFN-TV in Fresno, California reported on the incident on its evening new program and on its website. The internet link in the article above, “This Page”, take the user to the KFN website. The following is posted on the KFN website: “The collision happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Vista Avenue near Highway 99. The nearly mile-long Union Pacific train was carrying hundreds of military vehicles, mostly Stryker armored personnel carriers. Labels on the vehicles indicated they were being shipped from Ft. Lewis, Washington, to Fort Irwin, California, in the Mojave Desert.”

I tend to agree with the original post in the reply column here. That is not to say that an impending declaration of martial law is nothing to worry about. There is Plenty to concern you in the USA today, that is if you can stand the pressure from considering these concerns. However, it may also be said many doomsday theories are simply not based and grounded on Hard Facts. I subscribe to the following notion written by a California resident: “… don’t think it won’t happen just because it hasn’t happened yet !” The issue is, what are you and I, as individuals, going to do (if anything) about the many current issues that do lead this country astray. If you course of action is to do nothing, (and there are trainloads of actions you can take each day) then please leave the “kitchen”. Its hot and getting hotter than hell each day.

The most shocking aspect of it for me is watching millions of free Americans stand idly by while Obutthead, his minions in Congress and his cheerleaders in the press systematically dismantle our Constitution, steal our assets and resources, and crush our freedoms.

This is the most intelligent response so far. The right questions address the potential concerns. By the time it’s obvious enough to know for certain what the plans are.. they will be debriefing you from your living room at gun point. So feel free to wait that plan out. As idiotic it is to spout theries as fact, it is just as ignorant and self promoting / satisfying to rant in the opposite direction. The man was simply raising the question about the odd number of vehicles going to a not so typical location.
What we can do to defend against potential bad news / outcomes is stay informed. Keep your camera phones charged and easy to get to. Invest in the best home survelience systems you ca get. Good luck.

Those “mysterious” vehicles are called LAVs (Light Armored Vehicles) and have been around since the mid 80s.

let us not forget military build up along the Korean border. and California seems a logical stopping point for any military equipment heading to the DMZ on the 38th parallel

These vehicles appear to be Stryker Armored Reconnaissance Vehicles. They may be a Brigade that is being deployed for training, shipment to Europe or to build new units in the US Army. http://www.army-technology.com/projects/stryker/ Yjis is a good article that describes the eight versions of this vehicle. I saw one MEV (Medical Evacuation Vehicle), They have vehicles that carry M-2 Machineguns, Mortars, Engineers, Mobile Command Post for and HQ, M-240 MG’s, Etc. They are manufactured in several locations including London. Ontario. There is a contract for about 2100 of these vehicles. They are particularly attractive foe the ARMY because they will fit inside a C-130 for transport, which means they can be transported quickly to a foreign hot spot. I believe Iraq has also purchased around 400 of these for their Army.

Once a year each Army unit deploys to Ft. Irwin CA for desert warfare training. They are required to deploy just as if they were going to war, that means they have to load their vehicles on long trains for shipment. James C is right, they are Strykers, wheeled combat vehicles.

You idiots with your totally unfounded conspiracies should keep your mouths shut until you have something worthwhile to say! Fat chance!

Almost…not even worth disputing or commenting on. The Iraqi Army are buying LAV’s but not with the Stryker configurations bit rather the types of vehicles the Marines had bought and fielded quite a few years before the Army decided to field them.

As far as fielding them, great way to see military intelligence take shape. What the Army never understood in trying to become an expeditionary force is not so much the vehicles er say but what about every thing else? Water and ammo are two things that significantly add weight to the load weight. Also, fuel will run the same risk. The other thing is they will not fit with slat armor which also significantly adds to the weight. Because of a documentary about the border and illegal aliens, other troops from brigades and gone to our border for training (that can seriously be justified being that was one of the missions for our squadron between Syria and Turkey-patrolling the border in 2004 and 2005. As far as I know, my squadron was the first to ever try or do this when they loaded two troops and Headquarters and flew anywhere. From Ft Lewis to Yuma, Arizona. Everyone had to be hush, hush about it, this little law known as Posse Comitatus. The purpose was to see if we could actually do what the Army said we could do. As far as I know, we were the first ones to try it. Of course we were the second brigade ton go through transformation. The only thing I did not like about this was they did not take me. That is why as soon as I became an NCO-wanted to go directly to a line troop.(I was a supply sgt by MOS). I do not know how many brigades there are-would put it between eight and ten. Ft Lewis had a whole division (three Stryker Brigades) with one additional brigade hosted from Hawaii. There was some sort of law suit by environmental do-gooders and had no place to train. My unit was re flagged when everyone came back October, 2005 and moved to Germany. Bastards! I lasted all of seven weeks in Iraq and was wounded twice-the second one was one of those-“you are never going to be allowed to stay in the Army” wounding. I was stuck in Walter Reed and I hated it.

We were the RSTA squadron(Recon, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition so we only had .50 CAL MG and Mark 19’s which everyone hates of course. How I found my way in here is because I am so freaking pissed at these right wing Alex Jones wanna be’s nut jobs does nothing but slander those who served including those who served honorably in a Stryker Brigade. In cannot sit and keep quiet seeing so many lies promoted as the truth.

Here are two really good examples. See this video where these Soldiers or Marines(really could not tell) were defined as being foreigners to invade us. Yes a little grainy-not a great video. Of all things I can see that they were setting up a tow bar or tow cable to tow a broken vehicle. Next one was more humorous then insulting where you hear someone narrating that these Strykers all parked-started leaving and disappearing into the dessert-no doubt taking over a small town or something. Yah, they sure did. This was Yermo, CA which also happens to border Ft. Irwin.
