Because this is a pro-gun website we often discuss self-defense situations or occasions where we must confront another human being.
Due to the fact that many of us are armed and not only capable but prepared to use deadly force against an individual that poses imminent bodily harm to ourselves, someone we care about or an innocent bystander the way we confront another person has to be calculated. We cannot afford do be overly emotional or aggressive. There is no margin for error when carrying a firearm.
And, in the vast majority of cases, the use of force — let alone, deadly force — is not warranted. Therefore, when we attempt to de-escalate a situation we must rely on other tools, mainly our ability to converse in a logical and friendly manner.
So, with that in mind, how would you address an irate Dennis Quaid vis a vis the video above in which he appears to freak the heck out (it’s not confirmed whether it was real or just a prank)? Would you shout back? Would you let him continue to yell and scream until he left the room? Would you get in his face and tell him to calm down? Would just remain silent? Would you record it on your iPhone? Would you walk away? What would you do if you were in that room?

The thing to do would be to walk out of the room!!! Anyone with any common sense would do the same unless he pulled a weapon out that would put others and or yourself in danger!!! No need to deal with coked up actors!!!
