Nosler’s new suppressor line consists of a 30 and 22-caliber offering made with either aluminum and titanium, or just titanium.

Nosler has finally made its way into the suppressor game with four models of rifle-caliber cans. These suppressors include the SR-30Ti and SR-22Ti which are constructed of titanium, as well as the SR-30AlTi and SR-22AlTi which are even lighter and constructed of both aluminum and titanium.

All of Nosler’s suppressors are rated for magnum cartridges. They even told us that the 30 caliber suppressors would handle the monster 30-378 Weatherby Magnum.

These suppressors are currently available for sale at your local dealer, which can be found using the dealer locator tool on Nosler’s website.

Due to their design, the main tube of the suppressor is a smaller diameter than the blast chamber.

As you may have guessed from the naming convention, Nosler offers a 30-caliber suppressor as well as a 22-caliber suppressor. The 30-caliber offerings are the SR-30Ti and the SR30-AlTi.

Both of these suppressors are rated for equally large magnum cartridges but If you plan on shooting a bunch, getting your suppressor to extreme temperatures, the full titanium construction of the SR-30Ti may benefit you with increased longevity of the can. The same is true for the 22 caliber offerings, the SR-22Ti and SR-22AlTi.

A closer look at the Nosler branding.

A cool design feature of these suppressors is the interchangeable thread adapter. This means you can own one suppressor and two thread adapters to use that suppressor on both 1/2×28 threaded muzzles as well as 5/8×24 threaded muzzles.

It is $30-$35 for a new thread adapter, making it a cost-effective option for using your Nosler suppressor on multiple guns.

This muzzle thread adapter (left side of image) can be swapped out for either 5/8×24 or 1/2×28 TPI adapters.

An advantage of Nosler’s suppressor design is the ability to replace some or all of the baffle stack in the event that it becomes damaged. This is important because the approval process for owning a suppressor is long and expensive.

Being able to repair the suppressor quickly and easily is a much better option than a warranty program that will replace the broken suppressor with a new one because you would have to go through that waiting process again.

I AM HAPPY TO SEE SUPPRESORS BECOMING MORE POPULAR, BUT AT 78YO, I WILL NEVER LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE THEM AVAILABLE TO OTHER THAN THE RICH AND PRIVILEDGED. THE COST OF OBTAINING A PERMIT AND THEN THE COST OF PURCHASE PROHIBITS OWNERSHIP BY THE COMMON HUNTER. SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE MORE ACTIVE IN BROADCASTING THE BENEFITS TO SOCIETY IN GENERAL THAT SUPPRESSOR USE PROVIDES. REDUCTIONS IN LOSS OF HEARING ABILITY AND LESS NOISE DISTURBANCE TO THE PUBLIC IN SUBURBAN AREAS TO NAME A COUPLE. THE PUBLIC THINKS THAT SUPPRESSORS “SILENCE” THE MUZZLE BLAST. NOT TRUE, JUST SUPPRESSES THE NOISE TO A LEVEL LESS DISTURBING AND LESS DANGEROUS TO HEARING ABILITY. IT ACTUALLY IS A PUBLIC HEALTH BENEFIT.
