New SIG NRA P365 in Coyote Tan Exclusive from Lipsey’s

New SIG NRA P365 in Coyote Tan Exclusive from Lipsey's

The NRA P365 will include a challenge coin and three mags and the gun will be coyote tan.

Do you want to carry an award-winning subcompact 9mm with the highest magazine capacity in its class finished in coyote tan and support the National Rifle Association at the same time? Coincidentally, Lipsey’s wanted you to have that opportunity, too.

The new NRA P365 will have a special NRA serial number and includes a SIG SAUER & NRA branded P365 challenge coin. Additionally, the gun will be coyote tan and include three magazines — two 10-round mags and the popular 12-round extended mag, also in coyote tan. It’s all bundled in a polymer case.

The NRA P365 comes with three mags, one flush fitting 10-round, one pinky-extended 10-round, and one extended 12-round mag.

The gun will be available exclusively through Lipsey’s, which is a wholesale distributor. If you want to get your hands on this gun, you’ll need to find an FFL who works with Lipsey’s. Follow this link to check with your local GunsAmerica dealer. It shouldn’t be hard to get your hands on this coyote tan beauty.

Lipsey’s and SIG will donate a portion of the sale of each gun “to the NRA to support the defense of the second amendment, and all of the work NRA does to educate and train for the safe and lawful use of firearms,” SIG reported in the news release.

The P365 was named handgun of the year for 2019 by Shooting Illustrated. Pictured with the flush fitting 10-round mag.

The P365 was named handgun of the year for 2019 by the NRA’s Shooting Illustrated magazine. It’s not only one of the slimmest and lightest of the firearms in its class, but it also holds 10 rounds without increasing the width of the grip.

At just 17.8 oz, the P365 is one of the lightest subcompact handguns. Pictured with the 10-round mag with pinkie extension.

In a recent GunsAmerica hands-on comparison of the SIG P365, the Glock 43 and the Smith & Wesson Shield, the P365 was a standout winner. It has improved ergonomics and that extra capacity makes all the difference. Its XRAY3 day/night sights are also superb.

“Sig Sauer has a long history of supporting the NRA through programs and products,” said Tom Taylor Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG SAUER, Inc.

“We expect this unique collaboration with one of our leading business partners on one of the best-selling guns in the market will drive substantial awareness and support for the NRA, and be very popular amongst consumers,” he continued.

The shaped trigger guard allows a higher grip, and the XRAY3 sights are easy to acquire in all kinds of lighting. Pictured with the 12-round extended mag.

The NRA P365 will be revealed later this week at the NRA annual meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, and will be available through your Lipsey’s dealer in May 2019. MSRP is $649, compared to the Nitron finished P365 with two 10-round mags for $599 (street price will probably be lower).

Does this come in the P365xl version?

  • Robert August 28, 2019, 2:51 pm

Great gun. Anybody know where I could purchase an extra magazine to match the gun color?

    • William Breaux October 3, 2019, 11:13 am

If you find out, please tell me. Apparently the magazines that came with the pistol are all they believe you will ever need. There doesn’t seem to be any magazines OR bottom plates for the magazines in Coyote Tan anywhere.

Meh …. I have a Sig P320 sub-compact that holds 12+1 all the time, 15+1 with a little adapter, has night sights, and fits my hand better than the little 365. And it was only $485.00. So I think I’ll pass.

Love the Sig P365 especially in tan. Already own a P938 legion, a suppressed P938 and one embellished p238. Would stake my life on any Sig product.

I have been in the NRA for 53 years… I was there when we were fighting desperately to defend the Second Amendment and the rest of the Bill of Rights and we were losing.. today we are not losing.. If you do not like the NRA’s direction it is the only 5million member organization that elects their leadership.. Stop bitching and change it.. Neal Knox did, Arron Zellman did, Alan Gottlieb did.. Col Robert K Brown did..

Learn the Art of War … learn long range strategic thinking .. Learn to recognize victory and defeat and staelmate.. not for just today but the future..

I have seen “hirelings” in powerful positions at the NRA one day just “Get it” One of the most beautiful things I saw one day..Someone I had been in conflict much like some of you are in disagreement with certain NRA policies today.. He was on one of the Fake News Networks long before the public ever heard the Term Fake News… or understood the Anti-Liberty Bias of the Lame Stream Press.. (The NRA has very much been a part of those exposing it.. for longer than most of you have been alive by the way._ In any case he made the correct arguments before an ATF agent.. who became angry and reached across the table grabbing the NRA Rep by the Arm… In that moment millions saw the true face of tyranny.. the anger at “Not getting their way” I saw a man who took a paycheck from the NRA membership and did a good job.. turn from is work as just being a job.. to someone who “Got it” who believed.. You could see it in his eyes… and every day after that when he came to work.. He fought because he believed.. and he fought hard..

Defending Liberty is a Journey… and many things in life get in the way.. The NRA , Second Amendment Foundation, JPFO, even Gunowners of America.. each have a role to play.. and there are others who are maybe misdirection.. just fund raisers some worse… but all have a role to play in the defense of liberty.

In the NRA you have a Vote after 5 years… if you do not vote that is on you.. but that alone sets the NRA apart…

Stop sniveling and like the man says.. STAND AND FIGHT…

Is this Cerakote on the slide?

    • Awesome Bill from Dawsonville April 26, 2019, 1:52 pm

It’s a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish. And unfortunately Lipsey’s has already allocated all of them.

I am truly sorry for the CA citizens not being able to exercise their 2A to the fullest.
The gang violence, personal security, business security, the corruption in the LE and the governments, etc. these are the issues shaping the need for armed protection the citizens must have.
The individual citizen can not overcome the LE or the government forces under tyranny.
The combined citizen’s militia in adequate numbers will prevent such anarchy.
This is the primary purpose of the right of the citizens to keep and bear arms. To defend what is ours
against all forces, within and without. To be complacent is allowing to be controlled by the wealthy and the
powerful, Educate, practice, be aware, keep vigilant of the controlling minority.

I’ll support the NRA when they support the 2A.

    • Mark N. April 25, 2019, 1:19 am

The NRA has done more in California to support the 2A through litigation than any other rights organization. I might buy one of these–except that Kamela harris has prevented any new model firearms from being sold here.

      • Moe April 26, 2019, 9:37 am

I’m buggin’ out of Kalifornia, headed for NV, this summer. First thing I’ll do, after I get there, is buy a P365. Think I’ll name it ‘Kamera’ – after Ms Harris.

      • Norm Fishler April 28, 2019, 7:44 pm

Tell that to California’s SKS owners that the NRA threw under the bus.

    • kane April 26, 2019, 10:11 am

I am a NRA and ISRA (Illinois) member that is wondering what form of support you do provide for the 2A?
