The New RIG is an angled foregrip with integrated 500-lumen white light.

This year at SHOT Show 2022, Crimson Trace launched a ton of new products. From a whole bunch of new red dots to a pretty interesting integrated light.

One unique product they brought out was their R.I.G. (Rapid Illumination Grip). The RIG is an angled foregrip that can attach to any M-LOK or Picatinny handguard. But unlike other angled foregrips, this one offers a built-in 500-lumen tactical light.

The light has easy to reach switches that can be activated for either “constant on,” or “momentary on.” It is powered by a rechargeable battery unit, and ships with 2x of them. Perfect for a home defense rifle or AR Pistol. The RIG is available for $204.99 MSRP.

The switches to activate the RIG can be accessed from either side.

They also had their R.A.D. (Rapid Aiming Dot) on display. The RAD is the Crimson Trace reflex sight, similar to an RMR. The sight has a 3 MOA dot with 8 different daylight settings, two night vision settings, and is loaded with all of the features you would expect from a reflex sight.

It’s made of 7075 T6 aluminum, has an IPX7 waterproof rating, a top-loading CR2032 battery, 20,000 hours of battery life, and an auto-shutoff feature. The RAD can be mounted to most pistols using various mounting plates and can also be used on a carbine. Offered in both Red and Green dots, the MSRP of the RAD Optic starts at $249.99.

There are a number of mounting options for the RAD, letting you use it on almost any pistol or carbine.

While they offer the RAD with an optional riser for rifles, Crimson Trace also introduced their H.R.O. (Heavy Recoil Optic). The HRO is designed for rifles of any caliber. The integrated mount puts the 2 MOA red dot at approximately lower 1/3 co-witness height. It features a nice large window and crisp, easy-to-pick-up dot. The HRO will begin shipping Q1 of 2022 with an MSRP of $479.99.
