CZ wows us once again with their new CZ 805 BREN PS1 Pistol, which will soon be able to be converted into a short-barreled rifle.

Another in a long line-up of new products, the CZ 805 BREN PS1 Pistol is based on the company’s 805 BREN S1 rifle. The pistol version makes importing into the U.S. a bit easier, though CZ still has a few hurdles to leap before we can convert the machine into a short-barreled rifle.

CZ needs six American-made replacement parts before their SB1 can don a stock. It already has three, thanks to a U.S.-made magazine, but they still need to find three more. Thankfully, CZ already has compliance kit in the works for their SB1.

The PS1 lists for around $1,700, which is pretty expensive for a CZ product. That being said, the pistols are expected to compete with the big name high-end tactical rifles.

CZ plans to begin production on the SBR kits for the new BREN pistols as soon as they finish up compliance parts for their Scorpion EVO 3 S1 pistols.
