Sometimes I don’t feel like shaving. Actually, a lot of the time I don’t feel like shaving. What transpires on my chin and cheeks is, well, I wouldn’t so much call it a beard as a motley collection of facial pubes. No joke, patchy, unkempt, and maybe even a bit wild, my beard is unsightly. Heck, it’s downright ugly. Just ask my GF.
But maybe that doesn’t have to be the case. Maybe there is something to tame those wretched bristles sprouting on my face. At Blade Show 2016, I came across Microtech’s tactical beard comb. A joint venture with Real McCoy Beard Oil, this wondrous implement is an automatic, out-the-front beard comb.
I saw a lot of cool stuff at Blade Show 2016, but this brings cool to a whole new level. I guess the question you’re asking yourself right now is, “I wonder if this auto beard brush is legal in my state?” LOL. Since it’s a comb and not a knife, I’m assuming it’s 50-state legal. But do your homework, just in case.
The price? $325. And I believe it comes with your choice of beard oil. For more information, check out the Microtech website.
Yes, in case you were wondering, Microtech sells knives too. If you’re not super familiar with Microtech, you probably only know them for their amazing autos. But boy, do they have so much more to offer.
For example, at the booth this year at Blade 2016, Microtech was showing off their eye-catching SBK. Designed by Sebastijan Berengi of Borka Blades and Anthony Marifone of Microtech, the SBK is one wicked-looking fighter.
The fellas took their inspiration from both Persian and Japanese-style blades to create this full-tang, production prototype that features a trailing-point blade made from M390 steel. It’s so comfortable in the hand, regardless of how you hold it, because of the rounded spine and butt.
For those fortunate enough to purchase this blade, it also comes with a carbon fiber pattern Kydex sheath with Blade-Tech attachment clips. It’s an awesome package. Specs and pricing are limited because it’s a prototype.
Specs:

- Blade Length: 5.10″
- Blade Steel: M390
- Weight: 4.8 oz
- Handle Material: G10
- Price: TBD

Looks like a knife you holler Allah akbar when you draw it.maybe you could get a add in jihadi journal
So awesome guys! Thanks for the awesome review on our products! we appreciate you!
There are many good looking knives on the market,BUT the ordinary person would not have the experience to properly use it in a knife fight. I don’ think I would take training for knife fighting, when if in an altercation a gun is the better weapon.just my opinion.
In a 30.70 environment there will be no gun and yet altercations can still occur… think of it as a boot knife backup.
