This year at SHOT Show 2018, GEMTECH released the LUNAR 45, a super lightweight can made of military-grade aluminum and titanium. This suppressor is modular, allowing you to adjust the length to the amount of noise reduction you need. Users can remove 2 inches, making the can shorter for pistol-length barrels. The LUNAR 45 is usable for not only .45 ACP, but 9mm, .40 S&W, and 10mm.
The booth monkey wasn’t sure about 7.62 Tokarov, but that is rarely an issue in the US market. It is kind of like a one-stop shop for a pistol suppressor. Different piston options from the front of the can adapt to the thread pitches needed for various pistol and carbines.

Impressions
For testing on the range today, we had the LUNAR 45 mounted on a Kriss Vector sub gun chambered in 9mm. The LUNAR 45 had little effect on the balance of the weapon. As pistol caliber carbines become more popular, this is going to be a main player in the marketplace.
Taking this thing apart for cleaning is a snap, and I love the new tools included in case you forget to clean it. Often. Not that I have ever done that. Professionals always follow recommended cleaning schedules. And never ever get a can so stuck together that they have to warm it up on the BBQ grill to get it apart. For testing on the range today, we had the LUNAR 45 mounted on a Kriss Vector sub gun chambered in 9mm. The LUNAR 45 had little effect on the balance of the firearm, but did nicely reduce the noise. As pistol caliber carbines become more popular, this is going to be a force to reckon with in the market.

I have a Lunar45, and the writer of this post is a fucking idiot.
The picture labeled “The Lunar 45 shroud is easy to remove” is 100% NOT the correct suppressor, as the Lunar45 is NOT a monocore design.
Jesus christ ya fucking dunce.
Wait time should be NO MORE THAN 2 MONTHS total NOT A YEARS WAIT !
So glad to see as the surppressor market matures these things becoming more usable with a variety of calibers
If the rinos ever get off their butts and pass the Hearing Protection Act this would be a great accessory.
