Lone Wolf Shows You How a Glock Works on the Inside

Do you know how a Glock works?

I’m sure there are one or two smart alecks out there saying, “Yeah, dummy, you pull the trigger and it goes bang!”

Sure, in a rudimentary sense, yeah, that’s how it works. You pull the trigger and it goes bang. But from a mechanical and engineering perspective, there is a lot that happens during the firing cycle of a Glock (including the disengagement of three safeties!).

In the video above, our friends at Lone Wolf break it down in the course of about seven minutes. The cool thing is that it’s highly informative. Do you know what the “cruciform” does? What about the “kickup”?

The bad thing is that the computer voiceover is a little stilted and off-putting.

Overall, though, solid video. I watched it twice to really get a sense of what happens when I pull that trigger.

As with all tools, the more you understand them, the more you appreciate them.

I have no problem following the narrative. I would love to see this for all firearms.

    I’m 99% sure it’s a computer-generated voiceover. Regardless, it’s awfully distracting.

This Lone Wolf video is excellent. The imaging and added text is outstanding. I agree that the voice-over is muddy due to the person’s heavy accent. The person is very knowledgeable, but does not have a clear speaker’s voice. I will watch this video again later. Very informative.

She read the written information without missing a beat. But I do agree that the voice could have been clearer.
