FOX5 Vegas – KVVU

Last Friday, a Las Vegas woman shot her stalker in the chest after he forced his way into her home, local media reports.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m., when the suspect, 22-year-old Douglas Eugene Jackson, the woman’s ex-boyfriend, kicked down the door of her apartment.

Fearing for her life, the woman, who did not want to be identified, fired two shots at Jackson, hitting him once in the chest.

With the tables now turned, and perhaps fearing for his life, Jackson fled from the woman’s apartment.

When police arrived on the scene they found Jackson hiding behind some nearby bushes. He was sent to the hospital for treatment for his gunshot wound.

Once he is released he will face charges for aggravated stalking and home invasion.

Why, as more that one commenter has mentioned, would it be a good thing if the guy was killed? It is a good thing this woman was able to protect herself, isn’t that enough? We don’t know much more from this article, maybe the guy has a mental illness and isn’t being treated. He doesn’t deserve death for that (nor does he deserve no punishment).

I am willing to bet that if this was your daughter your thoughts would be different. Especially if this guy decides to finish what he started.
Most of these people try and try until they succeed.

    We need more gun control.
Women like this should be able to put two to the chest and one to the head.
It’s a tragedy we’re going to have to deal with in the future.

The lady needs considerable practice in shooting. She must have just nicked him for him to leave and hide and survive. A good shot would have place both rounds center-mass and dropped him permanently on the spot — as he deserved!
