Kimber Announces Engraved K6s Revolver

in Industry News, This Week

The standard Kimber K6s Revolver is already a classy carry piece. Kimber is kicking it up a notch, though, announcing recently a laser-engraved model that is certainly going to turn some heads.

Kimber Announces Engraved K6s Revolver

“The K6s Classic Engraved adds a subtle elegance to the modern concealed carry revolver. A beautiful leaf engraving over subdued brush finish provides a quiet sophistication, that when paired with the polished motif rosewood grips completely transforms this contemporary revolver into a true classic,” states the Kimber website.

Released over two years ago at the 2016 SHOT Show, the K6s has become quite the sensation.  Chambered in .357 Mag/.38 Special, this six shot wheel gun has one of the best double-action-only triggers in its class. One of our reviewers was able to reliably ring steel from 50 yards out!  Perfect for home defense and concealed carry (some critics, however, argue it’s too heavy for an everyday carry choice), the K6s is something to take a look at if you’re in the market for a snubbie.

With an MSRP of $1,455, it’s about a $600 jump from the basic stainless steel model. Is this extra ornamentation “worth it” is only a question you can answer.

I have both the Kimber K6s revolvers 2 and 3 in. What is going to b the new price of the engraved K6s and why laser engraved it will IMO cheap looking My question is why can’t I just or anyone for that matterbuy a Kimber K6s and have it engraved the way they want and be different from the kind Kimber will make?
