Jury Will Hear Multiple Sexual Assault Allegations Against 'Sons of Guns' Star Will Hayden

Will Hayden, former star of “Sons of Guns.”

A judge ruled last week that prosecutors in “Sons of Guns” star Will Hayden’s trial will be allowed to tell the jury about sexual assault allegations that took place outside the parish in which Hayden is currently being charged, according to The Advocate.

Next month in East Baton Rouge Parish, La., Hayden will face two counts of aggravated rape and one count of forcible rape in which he allegedly assaulted two preteen girls, one in the 1990s and the other more recently.

In the case’s most recent development, the judge has permitted prosecutors to also discuss another charge of aggravated rape Hayden is facing in Livingston Parish.

Prosecutors want to show the jury that Hayden has a “lustful disposition toward children,” and they’re hoping to use the alleged Livingston incident to prove it.

Bo Rougeou, who represents Hayden in the East Baton Rouge court case, accused prosecutors of “piling on,” noting that the two police reports prosecutors want a jury to hear about were filed after Hayden’s arrest on the East Baton Rouge charges.

The Livingston incident allegedly involved Hayden’s oldest daughter, who said on the “Dr. Phil” show in 2014 that her father got intoxicated one night about 20 years ago, came into her bedroom, and pinched and kissed her while trying to take her clothes off. She said she escaped and he never touched her inappropriately again.

Rougeou also claims to have “a lot of alibi evidence,” but is having trouble using it due to the imprecise time at which the alleged assaults took place.

Prosecutor Sonya Cardia-Porter responded by noting that because the victims are juveniles, they aren’t able to provide a more precise date range.

“The state can’t do any more,” she said.

“Sons of Guns” ran for several seasons on the Discovery Channel before being abruptly canceled due to the allegations against Hayden. The show took place in Red Jacket Firearms, a Baton Rouge custom gun shop he owned at the time. The store is now called Meaux Guns and Ammo. Hayden has no affiliation with it, according to The Advocate.

“Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of ‘Sons of Guns’ and cancel the series,” Discovery said in a statement to Fox 411.

If convicted on either of the aggravated rape charges, Hayden will face a mandatory life sentence.

As I understood the situation back then, he was going thru a very bloody separation and the charges were ‘trumped up’ by the mother to get back at him. I don’t know all the facts, but sure is possible. It’s a shame in this day and age when a charge like that can ruin a man’s life and it’s not even substantiated. All the girl has to do is say it and his life in in the toilet. I’ve seen it happen. Even after he’s proven innocent, it’s game over. shame. Personally, I think he’s innocent.

That “cocky” attitude may soon serve him well.

What bothers me the most about this is the fact that Will Hayden made such a big deal about being a US Marine. Some Marine HE was! The Marines I knew and served with would have gladly taken their turns teaching this POS about morality and its reflection upon the Corps. And what kind of “man” over-powers, abuses and assaults someone weaker than himself, never mind sexual assault and rape of a minor…….hell, attempting to do so with his own daughter! I can’t bear to look at him.

This guy looks like a chomo. You’re welcome to disagree, but I think he’s done it.

As a former teacher, students (school age, E.S., M.S…etc.) will testify to situations that are not true because of the trouble they’re in at the time. Numerous instructors were dismissed because of false charges (never proven). They lost their job and career they worked so hard to accomplish. If Bill Hayden did this, there will be hard evidence to back the children’s accusations. My question would be, where is/was the supervision of the mother in-charge?

    • Joe Mama April 6, 2017, 8:15 am

It was his daughter, Goobs. Why would the mother be supervising if she was with him on certain times?

The jury is still out, and he innocent until proven guilty as the judicial system implies. It is just time that will tell us how long this POS goes away for. An innocent man does not get blind sided by accusations from multiple women including his own daughter on rape charges.I will cheer when this scum of the earth is sentenced to life with Bubba.

Will Hayden never owned Red Jacket. I worked with those guys briefly on a custom M203 rail job. There was a partnership between Joe and Will which was off the record. Will never put a dime into the business except to pay for his own fun. Joe has the FFL and the two supported the property. The company for the TV show put so much money into Red Jacket that Will took a backseat from the expenses while Joe kept the place going. Will just wanted to be the star but it was always Joe doing the real work. Hell, its no wonder Vince left. There was so much actual drama happening off-screen it was nuts.

Will wasn’t allowed to have a ffl. I everhead the story as told by Stephanies first husband at a party. Red jacket when owned by will failed an ATF audit where a bunch of ar15 receivers that were modified to full auto were either missing or destroyed and no record of the destruction.
after that they used people to keep the legal doors open. Not sure how it was structured.
I went in there when they were on Choctaw before they moved to mammoth. I was inquiring for them to thread my 308 for a suppressor. They said sure and wanted to use a tap and die. I said nope only interested if you can lathe it so the bore and threads were concentric so I don’t have a baffle strike. They said that was how they did it. Walked out never to return. Half ass jack legs

If he is guilty then he will answer to God one day!

If I am incorrect I applogize, but I dont believe that Hayden owned Red Jacket Firearms. Wasn’t fraud one the other things he was accused of? Specifically making contracts for a business he didn’t own?
