The Israel Defense Forces “neutralized” five suspected Hamas terrorists on Tuesday via an air strike, Times of Israel reports.
The Hamas commandos arrived by sea and attempted an attack on a military base in in northern Negev.
Video footage shows that the foiled assault didn’t last all that long. Though, one Israel soldier was said to have been lightly wounded while exchanging gunfire with the intruders.
Upon posting the footage on Twitter, the IDF wrote, “Earlier today, Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel from the sea near Zikim. We neutralized them.”
