Warne Shaves Some Weight: Warne Skyline Lite Bipod — SHOT Show 2024

Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

At SHOT Show 2024, Warne, known for their exceptional scope mounts and rings, introduced the latest addition to their lineup – the Skyline Lite Bipod.

This bipod, in my opinion, is the direct result of competition among manufacturers to produce the best bipod for the lowest price. It’s an incredibly sturdy and versatile bipod for its price.

The Skyline Lite is a more affordable version of the original Skyline, but with a few minor changes such as the lack of a pan feature.

The Skyline Light builds upon the success of its predecessor, the standard Skyline, incorporating customer feedback and innovative design features. Notably, it retains a generous 44° of cant while eliminating the pan feature, providing shooters with enhanced control at a lighter weight.

One standout feature is the interchangeable head, available in fixed Picatinny, quick-detach Picatinny, and ARCA variants. This adaptability ensures compatibility with various shooting setups, offering users the flexibility to choose the head that best suits their preferences. These three different heads can be purchased separately from the bipod if you ever change your preferences.

There are 14 height adjustment points on the Skyline Lite.

Like the Skyline, the Skyline Lite has legs that lock at 0, 45, and 90°. The Lite’s legs can be rapidly deployed by simply tugging the leg down into position. The legs automatically lock into any of the 14 different extended positions. You can manually adjust the height of this bipod between 7 and 13 inches (measured in the 90-degree leg position).

Here is the QD Picatinny head, which is one of three different attachment options that Warne offers.

Weighing a mere 17 ounces, the Skyline Lite Bipod is a lightweight yet robust accessory. The rubber feet that this bipod comes with can be replaced with any Atlas-style feet.

This bipod is priced around $200, varying slightly with attachment head you want, and delivers features comparable to much more expensive alternatives on the market.

Warne’s Skyline Light Bipod is made in the USA and backed by a lifetime warranty.

The position that the legs are in is a “rapid deployment” position. Simply grab the legs and pull them down into place, where they lock out.

For hunters and shooters looking to elevate their shooting game without compromising on quality, the Skyline Light Bipod offers an enticing solution. This new bipod is on their website and is available for purchase now!
