Walker’s Game Ear, the popular hearing protection supplier, has released several new products this year. It’s becoming more evident all the time that people are moving towards hands-free technology when possible and with that in mind, Walker’s has added to the lineup hearing protection devices with Bluetooth capability.
Enter the XCEL 500BT digital muffs, Bluetooth-compatible with a slimmed down profile achieved by putting the controls on the headband instead of on the muff cup. A user can pair their phone to the XCEL and listen to a podcast or call up a friend (thanks to the built-in microphone) or, well, the options are endless.
It includes Voice Mode Activation, Wind Noise Reduction, as well as Auto Shutoff. The XCEL operates on two AAA batteries and has a low-battery warning. It is available for sale now and has an MSRP of 149.99.
Another new offering from Walker’s is an update to their line of electronic earbuds. The Silencer BT is a Bluetooth-compatible set of buds that come with a free Walker’s app for your smartphone. The app lets you control settings, monitor battery level, and adjust the volume on the earbuds. They come with a charging station that accepts a standard USB cable. The earbuds’ batteries will last approximately four hours while streaming and up to 14 hours with ambient use. The Silencer BTs are available now with an MSRP of $299.99.
Both of these products offer hands-free streaming capability while still providing the hearing protection Walker’s is known for. For more information, visit WalkersGameEar.com
