In an exciting fusion of design and function, electric adventure motorcycle trailblazers, UBCO, have teamed up with renowned hunter and pro surfer, Shane Dorian, to launch their revolutionary 2X2 Hunt Edition bike.

Heralded as the first of its kind, this limited edition offering promises both adventure aficionados and sportspeople an unrivaled outdoor experience.

Straight from New Zealand’s best design minds, this bike is anything but your average off-roader. It’s meticulously crafted to conquer every possible terrain – whether that’s muddy meadows, sandy shores, challenging dirt tracks, or steep inclines.

The truly standout feature? Its whisper-quiet operation and absence of spark flash. Not only does this ensure minimal disturbance to wildlife, but it’s a nod towards decreasing fire hazards in nature’s haven.

Shane Dorian, who didn’t just endorse the bike but was a key figure in its design, shared his experience.

“The UBCO Hunt Edition is a hunter’s dream bike. With a 75-mile range, AWD, and full suspension, It can get me everywhere I need to hunt with only the twist of a throttle. The 335 lb weight capacity allows me to extend my hunts and bring home more meat. The experience of using a silent, electric AWD vehicle to hunt, especially one as tough as the UBCO is unbeatable,” he said.

This bike isn’t just about sturdy and stealthy transport. It’s a hunter’s toolkit on wheels, boasting features like a Peak Design Phone Mount, Molle Panels for that extra storage space, a Barebones Living Japanese Nata Tool, waterproof center carry all, UBCO front and rear cargo decks, Giant Loop Proghorn straps, and a complimentary 3-month OnX Hunt Elite membership.

Phill Harrison, UBCO’s SVP of Marketing and Corporate Development, highlighted the mission behind this innovation.

“We want to make adventure more accessible” said Harrison. “Here we combine the durability UBCO is known for with increased functionality for hunters. The idea of this bike is to help bridge the gap between utility and recreation, providing a tool for hunters to get where they need to, using a lighter and more agile form factor, while still being able to pack out effectively.

“We know more and more people are interested in gathering their own food in sustainable and ethical ways, and we hope this bike can help fuel this movement,” he added.

For those eco-conscious riders, rest easy knowing that UBCO’s designs prioritize environmental care. While the bikes are designed in scenic New Zealand, they are assembled right here in the USA, constructed to be enduring and never disposable.

Thinking of experiencing the thrill first-hand?

UBCO is offering test rides to let you feel the adventure. Starting October 1, the UBCO Hunt Edition can be yours, with prices starting from $6,499 (inclusive of tax). Purchases can be made directly from UBCO’s website or via an UBCO dealer, with multiple financing options to choose from.

pretty cool but gross oversight, no rear fender on any model. which means mud, water, dirt will hit under rear rack, seat, battery and you. add 450 for shipping equals 6949 for this electric motorcycle where street legality varies by state. roughly the same price as 250cc dual purpose. maybe more but this one is quiet, very versatile, and can carry alot more. i like the special edition but would only buy one if i was wealthy. then i would fabricate my own rear fender.

Article is a little confusing. Replace every time you see “bike” with “motorcycle”, and the confusion goes away. This is an electric motorcycle. Way cool design, but lack of pedals will restrict use to private land or forest service roads open to off-road vehicles. It weighs about 50 pounds more than a 250 class dirt bike, but the torque should be outstanding. Plus no putt-putt noises.

Very nice. I especially like the weight capacity. Most bikes seem to be designed for the weight of petite Asians. Too rich for me, though. How about a quiet, gas-powered brush bike about half the price of this one. Stay safe.
