Pam Bondi, the newly sworn-in Attorney General, has just hired Professor Robert Leider as Assistant Director and Chief Counsel of the ATF.

Who Is Robert Leider and Why Does This Matter?

A Rare Win for Gun Owners Under Bondi’s Leadership
Kirk acknowledges that many gun rights advocates remain skeptical of Bondi—and with good reason. But he argues that this is, without a doubt, one of the best moves she could have made.
Yes, there are still big questions surrounding Bondi’s leadership. Yes, we’re still waiting on Trump’s executive order summaries and other pro-2A commitments. But for today, Kirk says, let’s give credit where it’s due:
“This is an extremely, extremely good hire.”

Ok, so starting with an open mind about this guy, I read his linked article.

Yep. Keep the ATF so they can change their minds in another 4 years. Sure. Is there some way to keep the ATF from pulling new rules out of whatever orifice they decide to reach in to? Or will the new counsel in some way permanently change the structure of the agency to keep the thugs from overreach once the president’s term is over?
As far as ‘Red Flag Pam” is concerned, she has never been a big friend of the Firearm Business.

In my opinion on Pamela Bondi! I really don’t think she is overly concerned about what we think about her!!I feel she will follow the Constitution and the law as best she can. She hasn’t balked at letting anyone know she’s not swayed by opinions.
IF… “she will follow the Constitution and the law as best she can…”, then she WILL ENSURE the Second Amendment is sacrosanct, as enshrined and intended by our Founders. Rights bestowed by God are not to be denied by man. Anything less is a betrayal of her Oath of Office. I took the Oath… it has no expiration date.
