If you’re like me, you’re always on the lookout for the next big thing in concealed carry guns.
Well, at SHOT Show 2025, HK just dropped something that’s definitely going to turn heads in the CCW (concealed carry weapon) world—the all-new HK CC9.

Compact, But Packing a Punch
Right off the bat, the CC9 feels great in the hand. It’s a micro pistol, making it ideal for concealed carry, but don’t let its size fool you—it packs a serious punch. With a 12+1 round capacity, you’ve got plenty of firepower in a package that’s small enough to carry comfortably every day.
That’s a solid round count for a micro-sized gun, and it’s something you’ll appreciate when you need it most.
Optics-Ready and Feature-Packed
One feature that stands out to me is how optics-ready the CC9 is. It’s set up to run a small RMSc red dot right out of the box.
This is a huge win for those of us who like to run optics on our carry guns. The smaller red dot allows for quicker target acquisition, which could be a game-changer in high-stress situations.

HK didn’t stop there. The CC9 also comes with a pick rail up front for adding accessories, like a light or laser, if that’s your thing. So whether you’re carrying in the daylight or in the dark, you’ve got options to enhance the pistol’s versatility.
Fully Ambidextrous: Perfect for Any Shooter
Another huge plus for this gun is its full ambidextrous design. Whether you’re left-handed or right-handed, you’ll have no issues with the slide release and magazine release. It’s not often you see a micro pistol fully equipped with these ambi features, so it’s great to see HK making that a priority for all shooters.
I didn’t get a chance to put a ton of rounds through the CC9 just yet, but I shot it a little bit and it felt great. The trigger pull is light and crisp, and the recoil is manageable for a gun of this size. It’s definitely a shooter-friendly pistol that feels stable and balanced in your hand despite its compact frame.
Made in America: A New Milestone for HK
Here’s something else that’s exciting about the CC9—it’s completely made in America. This is a big deal for HK fans, as this is the first time we’re seeing a pistol like this come out of their American production line.
It’s always nice to support homegrown craftsmanship, and based on the feel and performance of the CC9, I’d say HK has nailed it.
