Editor’s note: I ran across this compelling column by NRA Exec. V.P. Wayne LaPierre, originally titled “Hillary’s White House: Ground Zero For A Massive Attack On Guns,” which first appeared in the September ’16 issue of “NRA America’s 1st Freedom,” one of the official journals of the National Rifle Association. I thought I’d share it here on GunsAmerica because the major takeaway of the column is critically important. That is, we, the gun owners of this country, need to work every day to defeat Hillary Clinton. If we do not give it our all, we’re screwed. She’ll win in November. It goes without saying, but a Clinton victory could spell the end of the 2A as we know it today. Between anti-gun Supreme Court appointees and gun control via executive fiat, there is no telling how much damage a Clinton administration could do. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to find out either. If you haven’t already, it’s time to put your nose to the grindstone, get politically engaged and mobilize your friends, family, and neighbors so that we defeat Hillary in November.

Truth? That is a singularly out-of-place word to be used in the same sentence with Hillary Clinton.
For as long as she has been in politics, Clinton has been accurately tagged as a “serial liar” and “congenital liar.” Way back in 1996, in a column headlined “Blizzard of Lies,” referencing a contemporary set of Bill and Hillary Clinton scandals, the respected New York Times op-ed columnist William Safire seminally described Clinton’s aversion to the truth:
“Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady … is a congenital liar.
“Drip by drip … the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit.
“[S]he is in the longtime habit of lying; and she has never been called to account for lying herself or in suborning lying in her aides and friends.” The late Bill Safire accurately described Clinton’s ingrained modus operandi from then until this very day.
Look no further than 2012’s Sept. 11 anniversary attack on the unguarded Benghazi, Libya, consulate that left four brave Americans—including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens—slaughtered in what Clinton that night told her daughter, Chelsea, was a coordinated terrorist attack. Then, days later, standing before the flag-draped caskets of the fallen heroes, Clinton told stricken families and the grieving nation that the murderous attack was a spontaneous demonstration over a YouTube video. It was a perfidious lie.
Then there is Clinton’s shameless performance as secretary of state, marked by a cloud of serial lies about her off-the-radar, homebrew email servers. Her use of unsecured digital communications to send and receive thousands of official State Department and intelligence services documents, some with the highest security classification, jeopardized our national security. She put all Americans at risk, just because Clinton wanted to hide her official business from required official scrutiny and archiving.
As a result, key members of Congress have demanded that she be cut off from all intelligence briefings as a presidential candidate. An op-ed headline in the Washington Post blared, “Clinton is unfit to handle classified information.”
Within Clinton’s litany of lies over the years, some of the most outrageous have involved the Second Amendment and virtually every aspect of peaceable gun ownership and use.
Her new 2016 lies are the core of a propaganda campaign aimed at deceiving the public into accepting her elitist gun-ban agenda at the expense of average Americans whose very survival is threatened.
During the primary campaign, Clinton claimed that Vermont was the leading provider of illegal guns used by armed thugs in New York City—a huge lie. Even if it were true, the interstate transfer of firearms to criminals in New York from any state is covered by at least a dozen federal felony provisions—a fact that she dare not even whisper, lest she face a barrage of demands on why such laws are not being strictly enforced. But lies about existing law are her shield against the truth: There is nothing that bad people do with guns that isn’t already illegal in every corner of the country.
Her gun-ban website is rife with similar lies about the federal law. Try this absurd pledge that Clinton would “Make straw purchasing a federal crime. When an individual with a clean record buys a gun with the intention of giving it to a violent felon—only so that felon can avoid a background check—it should be a crime. Clinton will fight to make so-called ‘straw purchasing’ a federal crime.”
As every gun owner in the nation knows, it already is a federal crime! A mega crime, which is almost never prosecuted.
Among her biggest lies is a fake statistic she tosses out every time she talks about guns—“33,000 people a year” are killed by “gun violence.” As refuted by the prolific social scientist, Dr. John Lott, she blends in 21,334 firearm suicides, 586 accidental gun deaths, and 3,000 justifiable homicides with the actual 8,214 murders involving armed violent criminals. Lott points out that Japan, where there is no gun ownership, suicides are 54 percent higher than in our society. Her statistic—widely parroted by gun-ban politicians, Hollywood celebrities and elite media—is utterly false. And they know it.
She lies about the alleged “need” for her gun-ban schemes, but when it comes to the big picture, she is astonishingly truthful in spelling out her presidential plans to destroy the freedom of all Americans.
When it comes to erasing the Second Amendment and rewriting the First Amendment, Clinton has dropped the masquerade.
As to protecting our individual rights, Clinton says the U.S. Supreme Court is flat-out wrong. With the death of Associate Justice Antonin Scalia—who wrote the landmark Heller decision striking down the District of Columbia’s law banning handguns and criminalizing armed self-defense in the home—she vows to pack the court to undo what she called “a terrible mistake.”
Clinton has embraced the Australian firearm confiscation of the 1990s, which first disarmed licensed owners of every registered semi-automatic rifle and every pump-action and self-loading shotgun, then took and destroyed categories of registered handguns from licensed owners. In all, nearly a million lawfully owned guns in government databases were “turned into soup cans and bus stop benches.”
Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard admitted in The New York Times in 2013 that the firearms taken by “penalizing decent law-abiding citizens because of the criminal behavior of others” would be “the equivalent of 40 million guns in the United States.”
To get there, Clinton needs national gun registration and passage of “universal” background checks—code words for that end. She demands that every innocent, now-legal transfer of every firearm in the nation between law-abiding individuals be approved by her organs of the state under threat of felony prosecution. Promising to move way beyond President Barack Obama’s usurpation of executive power when it comes to gun ownership, Clinton says, “I really support everything President Obama said he would do through regulation on guns but we’re going to start the very first day and tackle the gun lobby.”
That is a clarion call for us. A Hillary Clinton White House would be ground zero for a massive attack on our freedom. We as NRA members have to work at it every day to defeat Clinton. We must reach everyone we know with a message for a secure future—the one we want for our children—with its cornerstone of enduring freedom. Vote for Donald J. Trump for president of the United States. Taking back America from the decrees of the elites who now rule our country starts with your voices and your vote on Nov. 8, 2016!

As far as the NRA goes i was a member from the 70s until 1994 and have supported them with minor donations since but not a member. I realized the NRA has been at the helm of gaurdong our rights during each and every major law passage that has taken rights of gun ownership away from us ie; machine gun act the formation of the atf and the 10 yr mag and assault weapons ban. I have been A member and will continue to support and be a member of the only organization that does not capitulate our rights away that is GOA. They dont comprimise and why should they, are we ? Its a constitutionally guarnteed right to KEEP AND BEAR firearms so no comprimise should EVER be considered. Not one major firearms law has passed while GOA had been politically active and yet we are in the most turbulent times for gun owners and the daily assault on us is fully faught by GOA and they dont put themselves are us into a comprimise. While the NRA is ok in my book. GOA is the best and only non comprimising large org out here that is fully WITH us.

The people of Maine, using common sense, should absolutely vote her OUT OF OFFICE in the next election which may be for Governor. Collins, Republican Senator, who is doing campaign ads for Hillary, states that she WILL NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP. No, Obama did not take your guns away and neither will Clinton. It is not as simple as you make it out to be. Vote for the country. Unfortunately I think H will be elected. However I think she won’t be able to revoke or infringe 2nd Amendment rights in states that don’t want it. The states have to ratify any changes to the Constitution and I just don’t see it happening. So if you are fortunate to live in a non-ban state I don’t believe there is much to worry about. Even in New York some of the counties are not enforcing the SAFE Act. Defiance of any measures she institutes by executive order will be the rule. Obama hasn’t been able to do that much so H won’t be able to either.

Clinton’s Death Trail Of Acquaintances…Just a coincidence ?? RIGHT
1. James McDougal – Clinton’s convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr’s investigation.
2. Mary Mahoney – A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House.
3. Vince Foster – Former white House councelor, and colleague of Hillery Clinton at Little Rock’s Rose law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide.
4. Ron Brown – Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown’s skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors.
5 and 6. C. Victor Raiser II – & – Montgomery Raiser-Major players in the Clinton fund raising organization died in a private plane crash in July 1992.
7. Paul Tulley – Democratic National Committee Political Director found dead in a hotel room in Little Rock, September 1992. Described by Clinton as a ” Dear friend and trusted advisor”.
8. Ed Willey – Clinton fund raiser, found dead November 1993 deep in the woods in Virginia of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a suicide. Ed Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House. Ed Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events.
9. Jerry Parks – Head of Clinton’s gubernatorial security team in Little Rock. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside Little Rock. Park’s son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton. He allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the files were mysteriously removed from his house.
10. James Bunch – Died from a gunshot suicide. It was reported that he had a “Black Book” of people containing names of influential people who visited prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas.
11. James Wilson – Was found dead in May 1993 from an apparent hanging suicide. He was reported to have ties to Whitewater.
12. Kathy Ferguson – Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson died in May 1994 was found dead in her living roon with a gunshot to her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several packed suitcases, as if she was going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a codefendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Kathy Ferguson was a possible corroborating witness for Paula Jones.
13. Bill Shelton – Arkansas State Trooper and fiancee of Kathy Ferguson. Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the gravesite of his fiancee.
14. Gandy Baugh – Attorney for Clinton friend Dan Lassater died by jumping out a window of a tall building January, 1994. His client was a convicted drug distributor.
15. Florence Martin – Accountant subcontractor for the CIA related to the Barry Seal Mena Airport drug smuggling case. Died of three gunshot wounds.
16. Suzanne Coleman – Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was Arkansas Attorney General. Died of a gunshot wound to the back of the head, ruled a suicide. Was pregnant at the time of her death.
17. Paula Grober – Clinton’s speech interpreter for the deaf from 1978 until her death December 9, 1992. She died in a one car accident.
18. Danny Casolaro – Investigative reporter. Investigating Mena Airport and Arkansas Development Finance Authority. He slit his wrists, apparent suicide in the middle of his investigation.
19. Paul Wilcher – Attorney investigating corruption at Mena Airport with Casolaro and the 1980 “October Surprise” was found dead on a toilet June 22, 1993 in his Washington DC apartment. Had delivered a report to Janet Reno 3 weeks before his death.
20. Jon Parnell Walker – Whitewater investigator for Resolution Trust Corp. Jumped to his death from his Arlington, Virginia apartment balcony August 15, 1993 was investigating Morgan Guarantee scandal.
21. Barbara Wise – Commerce Department staffer. Worked closely with Ron Brown and John Huang. Cause of death unknown. Died November 29, Her bruised nude body was found locked in her office at the Department of Commerce.
22. Charles Meissner – Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small plane crash.
23. Dr. Stanley Heard – Chairman of the National Chiropractic Health Care Advisory Committee died with his attorney Steve Dickson in a small plane crash. Dr. Heard, in addition to serving on Clinton’s advisory council personally treated Clinton’s mother, stepfather and brother.
24. Barry Seal – Drug running pilot out of Mena Arkansas, Death was no accident.
25. Johnny Lawhorn Jr. – Mechanic, found a check made out to Clinton in the trunk of a car left in his repair shop. Died when his car hit a utility pole.
26. Stanley Huggins – Suicide. Investigated Madison Guarantee. His report was never released.
27. Hershell Friday – Attorney and Clinton fund raiser died March 1, 1994 when his plane exploded.
28. and 29. Kevin Ives & Don Henry – Known as “The boys on the track” case. Reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mena Arkansas airport drug operation. Controversial case where initial report of death was due to falling asleep on railroad track. Later reports claim the 2 boys had been slain before being placed on the tracks.

I think our great Republic has been shifting left over the last 75 years. This I attribute to Communist influence, which became especially aggressive after we won the ” Cold War.” After that Americans quickly forgot about the greatest threat to their freedom and move on, believing the Reds had gone away. Well they didnt go away, they went dark and infiltrated our educational institutions, media, arts, and government. And Globalism has brought us cheap goods made in Communist China. Obama and Hillary are Marxists, they serve in Congress, and openly operate as facilitators to the DNC. Political Correctness is a Marxist tool. Marxists are behind the rise of the sexually perverted and deviants gaining political power, same sex marriage, gun control, open borders, attacks on the Church, and increasing UN influence on US law, including the global warming ruse.
If we are to save our Republic, our freedoms, and gun rights, we must expose and exterminate this Communist threat. Do the research, connect the dots. What I am saying is real.
I won’t write about most of the points of this blog entry because it is already a well-written one that brings up many facts for not voting for Hillary. There is just one point I would like to address:

That this is a wrong statement of President Obama should be obvious to anyone that has been following the news. But honestly, to me it is clear that the people that actually believe what Obama said on that day will vote for Hillary anyway. So either you already know that it is a lie, and therefore you won’t vote for Hillary on 8th November, or you believe it anyway and therefore you will vote for Hillary on 8th November.
At least in this sentence Obama acknowledged one thing: That he was obviously not the best man qualified for this office because he puts Hillary even higher than himself (or any other president of the USA which is a dangerous move to say something like this I presume). And by the way, it is obvious that he would never support a republican presidential candidate and only a person from his own political party, so although I saw this statement just now for the first time, it is not a surprise to me.
It seems the NRA’s message is not getting to the people we need to enlighten. I received a disturbing periodical today, The Nurses Voice, from my State’s Nursing Foundation (circulated to 177,000 registered nurses in my State). A front page article was asking nurse to help stop gun violence. Excerpts:
“…our country has endured unspeakable acts of violence with the common thread in each of these mass-casualty tragedies being easy access to guns.” Causation?
“Whereas, since 1994, ANA has considered gun violence to be a public health issue with subsequent policy action calling on the needs for limits on the availability of handguns, a ban on assault weapons, and a waiting period and background check of purchasers.”
I don’t need to tell you what is wrong with these ignorant statements. Problem is, a lot of folks are drinking the cool-aid. How quickly folks forget Dachau, the Killing Fields of Cambodia, and other atrocities where the populous were first stripped of their right to protect themselves. The NRA needs to run TV commercials showing pictures of these tragedies, and at the end ask, “Do you know what the common thread is in these events?” “These victims were first stripped of their right to bear arms.”
