GunsAmerica Bans Jihadists from Using Free Local to Sell Weapons — Unlike Facebook

in 2nd Amendment – R2KBA, Authors, S.H. Blannelberry, This Week
Jihadists are using Facebook to sell weapons. Why? Because they can. They cannot get away with that on GunsAmerica.

Jihadists are using Facebook to sell weapons. Why? Because they can. They cannot get away with that on GunsAmerica.

GunsAmerica: Where America buys and sells guns.  Facebook: Where Syrian-based Jihadists buy and sell guns.

For the record, GunsAmerica doesn’t allow known, suspected or convicted terrorists, Jihadists, militants belonging to any criminal organization to sell weapons on our boards.  Can Facebook say that?  Nope, no it cannot.

According to The Foreign Desk, Syrian-based Jihadists are using Facebook to buy, sell and trade a variety of small arms, including machine guns and rocket launchers.

The publication reports that on a Facebook page titled, “The first weapons market in the Idleb countryside,” Jihadists posted photos of CIA-sourced weapons, instructing interested and prospective purchasers to contact them via Whatsapp, an internet and cellular messaging app.

The page’s listings include: AGS-17 Soviet-era grenade launcher for $3,800, TOW and MANPAD missile launchers, 105 mm cannon shells, among other munitions.

Users can also ask the purveyors of the page for specific weapons, as one individual did, “Quick friends, I need a gun with a silencer.”  Members of this page are linked to various militant Islamic organizations, e.g. Ahrar Al-Sham and the Islamic Front.

So, there you have it.  If you’re still using Facebook to buy, sell or trade guns just know that you’re not in the best of company.  Instead of using a social network that is (a) growing increasingly anti-gun and (b) unregulated to the point of it being a liability for buyers and sellers, you might consider selling your guns on GunsAmerica — FOR FREE!

That’s right.  As you may or may not have heard, you can now list guns for sale on GunsAmerica for free, so long as it is at the local level.  We call this game-changing feature: FREE LOCAL.

To give you a better understanding of what FREE LOCAL entails, you should click on this link.  But generally speaking, the premise of the program is that all sales within a 50-mile radius, zip code to zip code, will have no posting fee and no after sale fee on GunsAmerica.

Pretty cool, right?  You won’t have to compete with Jihadists and you won’t have to pay fees if you list using FREE LOCAL. To get started, or to poke around the page and get a feel for the new look of GunsAmerica, click here.

As always, we are interested in hearing your feedback about FREE LOCAL.  We believe we’ve created the best platform for buying and selling guns online.  But until we hear from you, we won’t know for sure.  So, check it out when you have a second and let us know what you think.

Facebook is $hit, is for children and no adults should use the trash nor should they even be allowed on it!!
All you people are doing is making that jew bustard richer and richer and look what they do and allow, flipping haji’s to kill and attack and sell their poison.

  • Evan March 11, 2016, 5:49 pm

How exactly are you keeping terrorists off? Because if you allow someone named Muhammad (or any variation thereof) to sell or buy firearms, you’re not doing a good job.

  • steve March 11, 2016, 12:32 pm

Please tell me how to recognize a terry………isn’t telling people to not use facebook as stupid as telling people not to own guns…….both are really no one elses business.

    • Alan March 11, 2016, 1:03 pm

So Steve, if a commercial entity supports the banning of all firearms, or is in any way anti-gun, you don’t support letting other gunnies know, to boycott that business?
Would you give time, business or any support at all to those who would undermine your freedoms?
Uh, yeah, it’s my business knowing who would work to thwart my Constitutional freedoms.
If you don’t think they’re coming together to work against you, your seriously mistaken.

  • Larry March 11, 2016, 10:51 am

This is just one more of many reasons why no one who is an America loving citizen should ever use Facebook!

    • nathan March 11, 2016, 1:47 pm

Right On Larry !…I couldn’t agree more ! Why in HELL ! does one feel the need to involve themselves in the blabber of strangers…social media is one thing, but why not be known as well as knowing the people that you say your friends with…I think that it’s a DISTRACTION and it takes away the attention of more important things…Like REALLY ! KNOWING! who your talking to or socializing with.

FACEBOOK. Military weaponry. The first thing that comes to mind is a sting.

    • Rouge1 March 11, 2016, 11:23 am

Sting? Your government armed the drug cartels. Where do you think most of these arms came from?

  • Alan March 11, 2016, 9:13 am

LOL! Well G.A., based on posts, I guess your attempt to show F.B.’s obvious bias in certain matters has fallen on deaf ears.
As to F.B., anyone who doesn’t understand their very real socio/fascist ways is seriously blind.
But then, most Americans are blind politically anyway, so………………………

I think everyone that uses sites like Guns America and GB know the firearm needs to be shipped to FFL to FFL. They submit their FFL info to each other, we fill out the required federal form at our FFL before taking possession. Law abiding sellers and law abiding buyers – no loopholes.

But is a funny story, typical leftwing progressive logic! Lets ban the law abiding US citizens – but is ok for terrorists to sell REAL military grade arms on FB, you can’t make this stuff up!

  • Mike March 11, 2016, 8:57 am

This is total right wing propaganda! Facebook has banned ALL person-to-person gun sales. Only FFL dealers can post gun sales on FB now. Honestly, do some friggin research before making these kind of wildly inaccurate statements.

    • Larry March 12, 2016, 11:00 am

So the fine left-wing folks at facebook are taking the time to validate the authenticity of legit FFL license holders for the sales of firearms?
craigslist will not allow the sales of firearms in any way shape of form but they do allow marijuana and prostitution ads.

I understand that this article was meant to be a”tongue in cheek” intro to the new free local, however, bringing up Facebook and issues with firearms just fuels the fire in the already hostile antigun environment of that particular social media outlet. We had several pages shut down by Facebook citing they went against their socialist policies. These were groups dedicated to specific firearms or firearm platforms where we could go and talk about new products or political events supporting the industry, while pages like ” kill Zimmerman” are still active despite several complaints, and responses from facebook that they don’t violate their policies- I wish I could post the screenshot. Stories like yours are not really helping the cause, just telling Facebook to get rid of more firearm pages.

“For the record, GunsAmerica doesn’t allow known, suspected or convicted terrorists, Jihadists, militants belonging to any criminal organization to sell weapons on our boards.”

Umm, yeah. This board is based in America and local is only for America, right? So answer a few questions for me:
How is it that any “convicted terrorist” (or any felon for that matter) is in possession of firearms for sale? I would think that any such person would be a buyer, not a seller, or in the alternative, would be selling on the black market. It is up to the seller to require (or not) a background check on any buyer, except in states such as California, Washington, New York, DC, New Jersey, and Illinois (and probably others), where background checks are already mandatory for all transactions. And really, who cares if the seller can pass a background check, it is the guy buying it that we “should” be concerned about, right?
Do you run background checks on all posting sellers before allowing the post? What about all persons who register as buyers?
How will you know who is a “suspected” jihadist? Even state governments cannot wrest that info out of the Fed.
How do you justify disallowing someone merely suspected of some undefined crime, who has neither been arrested or charged, from exercising his or her Second Amendment rights?
Or are you just being sarcastic?

    • S.H. Blannelberry March 10, 2016, 5:50 pm

Yes, we were having some fun with this news story. The main point of the article is that you should check out FREE LOCAL. It’s really where it’s at. 🙂

You could have fooled me, you did, in fact.
Well, you should love my two President jokes.
        A. The President calls in the chairleg of the Joint Chiefs and yells, “I thought I told you to drop a nuke on North Korea!” The chairleg says, “Oh, NORTH Korea!” The President replies, “Well, that explains that letter I got.”
        B. “If elected, I will kill all the evil people. Now, I know my opponent has joined me in this pledge. Well, I also promised to kill all the crazy people. And now my opponent has joined me in that pledge. Well, today, my fellow Americans, I solemnly promise to you that, if elected, I will kill all the stupid people.”
